Re: Another mother-story I'm afraid.. :-)
Sad Grandfather: I just read your story on another post - about your illness and that of your wife, and how your daughter said, presumably coming from a place of wisdom learned at RSE, that you created them. I shed a couple of tears and gave a prayer of thanks to some nameless Higher Power that I di...

Hi WofthesunEastofthemoon and Another Dimension 60 Well, there are so many groups, prophets and seers to explore and few of them stand up to intense scrutiny in every respect. Neither, for that matter, do organized religions. For example, take Christian religious holidays. Almost without exception, ...

Hi Another Dimension 60. True, many of these people were completely sincere. Edgar Cayce could diagnose strangers by "remote" and prescribe holistic and sometimes peculiar remedies. Strangely, many of them worked. Also, such services performed by him were offered free of charge. Mary Baker...

Hi WofthesunEofthemoon: Amusing lymeric. If by New Age is meant introducing Hindu and Eastern Esoteric concepts to the West, then I suppose Madame Blavatsky did that. Freesoul I was not presuming or condescending; if I were those things I would not be asking questions. Hi Freesoul: I have a dear one in RSE, but I have never participated, although at one point I was about to - what prevented me, in part, was that I could not tolerate the thought of turning my back on family and friends. I have never been a participant at RSE, just know a couple of people who have been or are current. Reading through this thread, I kept thinking about Ingo Swann, a test subject of CIA PSI experiments for many years. Ignatious, hello. I don't know much except what I have read here, but it has been suggested that actually, JZ is engaging more with the senior students, less with the junior ones, and actually, I don't think she engages all that much with people outside of RSE (though, I hope that she is not so isol...

Well, then the sum would be statistically significantly less than zero! Reminds me, if you will pardon the expression, of War. Casualties of war are measured as a single loss...but each life touches so many others, that really, the tally for any campaign or exercise of that nature is much much higher.

Very informative. Will only add - it is science (possibly misrepresented and rearranged) but most of it has nothing to do with quantum physics, particle physics, or quantum mechanics...a whole bunch of sciences, which deal with entirely different concepts and views of reality - physiology, astrophys...

Personally, I think pot is less harmful than alcohol - but, it's illegal so for me out of the question. But, alcohol is actually more adictive, so people who have problems with alcohol should not be encouraged to drink, or made to feel left out if they don't. That would not be a sound business pract...

:P I have insomnia - Your Not Helping! I thank a higher power/providence/my lucky stars that I have never heard of those organizations. I thank my parents, I always felt I had enough, and valued other things above riches. and always felt, if I was to become wealthy, I would have to work for it. And,...

Cyberland, the Cult! Yes, the Internet can become an addiction. Have to be online at work a lot, so can't give it up entirely. And, I live a alone, so at home it helps me stay connected to the outside world. Also, it's a great tool for research, and a form of entertainment of a sort. I keep in touch...

Dear Freenow: That site, What Would Jesus Say, is one I stumbled on a while back, but could never find again. It's pretty good, really. But I can think of way in which it does make sense, encouraging wine drinking as opposed to pot smoking. One is legal, the other is not. The administrators of RSE d...

What the Bleep Movie - Is it Real Science?
Well, viewing the movie... We are told a whole number of things, by some weighty scientific authorities, then, the film's plot kicks in, "expanding on" or sometimes twisting up like a pretzel what we are told. Don't get me wrong, I like the movie as entertainment, and I thought the ideas p...

G2G, no Halo anymore :( The old smilies are gone, alas. In general though this is an improvement over the old site, as less vulnerable to 'infiltration' by current students or teachers who take exception to EMF's existence. And judging from the stuff those particular RSE members have posted on that ...

Just pulling your chain. I see your point. But what am I expected to do, not being a guy? See, Tyger, you have so many good points, then undo them in the next breath. But, also, you have told us what's missing at the ranch - the only thing - instead of explaining just what it is that p*****s you off...

I hesitate for some reason to say this to you Tyger. One of my favourite neighbours is a Wiccan. She wears a pentagram. apart from that, she is sane, wholesome, decent, and I am pleased to have her as my neighbour. The association I offer between pentagrams and human sacrifices is this - those who w...
