isn't ancient and current religion based on channeled info

Many experiences have happened during these techniques, known as disciplines, at RSE. People have been hurt physically, emotionally, and otherwise. Post your experiences.

Nor is it a question of "faith". Is or isn't ancient and current religion based on channeled information? On the same thing JZ is founded upon-doing?
Hi forever..
In short... Yes and No, with a mixture of the unfathomable.... :D
With JZ?..... JZ is founded on Judith Darleen Hampton...a very disturbed and destructive woman playing what she thinks is God in drag..
PLEASE forever,
You are constantly throwing very important question into the EMF pool, this is a good thing to a point....
However...Please can you give more time ( and patience ) for others to reply?
Sometimes a response will come weeks, months or even years later.....
The unfathomable may take a little longer

forever.
your questions begs equivocation. That means you are using the word "religion" as a stereotype suggesting it might be the "same thing" as JZ is doing because "ancient and current religion [is] based on channeling."
we cannot totally wipe religion away like that, like some boneheaded atheists I know do.

By boneheaded I mean that some people believe in a materialist "bony" conception of reality and that the brain is not participating in "finer" (aesthetic, biological=life, cultural, psychological, spiritual) things that could be real or perhaps more real.

Channeled, inspired, revealed, transmitted, developed, ritualized, and conceived all might indicate how "gnosis" comes out of a human being. There are many ways to determine whether it has any consistency, beauty, reasonable application to life, philosophical value, or social viability.

Take any religion...say Islam..and you can break it down into many qualities as well as see historically when it works socially for insiders and outsiders. Islam is not all bad or fake.

Just because JZ and some Pentecostalists mess it up, does not mean everyone does or has to.

Conduct and governance is what we can look at to indicate healthy faith.

I believe what Judy Knight practices is ultimately destined to fail because of the corporate infrastructure Knight has built around her channeling. The corporate structure forbids franchising the delivery of what passes for Knight's philosophy by anyone other than herself. Knight is a victim of her own narcissism, so avaricious for the teaching fees, so convinced she is the only conduit, that nobody else is permitted to deliver the message. When Knight dies, the one franchised outlet of Ramtha speak will be gone. The life plus years copyrights will assure that nobody will be able to pick up the reins and continue. The charismatic focus of RSE on the one person guarantees that when Knight is gone, that there is no reason for the devotees to keep coming to the well and flow of revenue to corporation will be curtailed. At some point in the future after Knight's demise and the copyrights run out, Knight's output could have the opportunity to stand own. There is no way know to say for sure, but I have a feeling 50 years from now, RSE books and tapes will be little more than forgotten curiosities on second hand book store shelves.

Sometimes channelers do succeed in leaving a legacy, but it is rare. In the USA, Edgar Cayce is one of the few. I am not a huge Cayce fan, but I am impressed at the ARE legacy, and ARE has done a pretty good job of curating Cacyce's output, and even engages in what appears to be healthy instrospection. There is even the associated Atlantic University that is accredited and capable of granting a recognized degree at the end of an established course of study.
