Dr. Colin Ross speaks at the Ranch

This is a thread to debate the pseudoscience that RSE promotes, versus the science of our current day.

Dr. Colin Ross speaks at the Ranch

Unread post by Walk in the Park »

jz has asked students worldwide to join the guest speaker who is speaking Sat the 20th to
listen.
He sais he is a trauma expert.
Has written several books about Mind Control.
Sais he is an expert on human energy fields.

yet, he has won the James Randi Pigasus award!

Hello!! Current students! Put the pieces together..."
Calling Dr. Ross......you are speaking to a group who IS mind controlled!

DALLAS, April 14, 2009 ? Noted psychiatrist and author Colin A. Ross, M.D., whose research into a new science and medicine focused on the human body?s electromagnetic field is described in his new book, Human Energy Fields (ISBN-13: 978-0-9821851-0-0), is proving to have a good sense of humor. He has accepted the ?Pigasus Award? from the James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF) (www.randi.org) with a smile.

The Pigasus Award is given each year, ?To the scientist or academic who said or did the silliest thing related to the supernatural, paranormal or occult.? Dr. Ross? 2009 Pigasus Award stems from his ability to focus his own electromagnetic field to send a beam of energy from his eyes and make a tone sound out of a speaker. He has applied to the One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge administered by the JREF.

The JREF has ridiculed Dr. Ross since he filed his challenge application. James Randi wrote on his web page: ?You think you?ve seen every sort of claim that could be thrown at the JREF?. Most have been preposterous, silly, irrational, and/or astonishing. Now we have one that is all of those?Dr. Colin A. Ross.?

?I am not the first unconventional thinker who has had to endure the snickering of cynics and skeptics, so I happily accept this recognition,? said Dr. Ross. ?Every significant scientific advance faces resistance, but it is time that the JREF stop ridiculing me and tests the protocol.?

Dr. Ross says his claim is a testable scientific hypothesis for which he has solid evidence. He explains on the Colin A. Ross Institute Web site (www.rossinst.com) that the energy emitted through his eyes is electromagnetic (EM) energy in the 0-40 Hz frequency range with amplitude in the 0-50 micro-volts range. These are the same brain waves that emerge through the skull. Dr. Ross captures this energy with an electrode and neurofeedback equipment. The software plays a tone in response to detecting the EM energy emerging through his eyes.

The JREF has accepted Dr. Ross? challenge as a claim of the paranormal, insisting that no energy is emitted from the eyes.

Other 2009 Pigasus awardees include the producers of Ben Stein?s film, ?Expelled,? and actress Jenny McCarthy for promoting her view that vaccines are contributing to the increase in autism in the United States.

a repeated 'lesson' for me lately is that there is no black and white - for example, trustworthy speakers/teachers are on the same panel/program with scam artists - --- - it's possible Ross is a fraud -- and, I've seen demonstrations on tv of the new software which can be controlled by the eyes -- not yaya newagepsychicspiritualmumbojumbo, but science.
Talk with some Mothers of children who received the vaccinations and are now diagnosed autistic. If Rick Ross trusts the vaccinations of contemporary pharmaceutical companies, he deserves the pigasus award.
If Ross is an expert on mind control, then it certainly would be interesting to hear his response to experiencing a jz audience.!!!

The electromagnetic field emitted by ANY living thing is measurable by many different devices. Most often these devices are linked through an interface to a program within a computer which then records, arranges and displays the data in a particular fashion. This display usually utilizes a graphic and/or sound.

The Rife Generator Electromagnetic Neurofeedback & Quantum Biofeedback systems are just two examples of such devices that have been interfaced with computer programs for use on humans. These are available to the public as stress retraining devices through Neurofeedback Therapists and other medical practitioners. I have been using one in my clinic since 2006 to help people modify both their mental and physical stress patterns as a means to improve their overall health.

Both systems can be set up to emit a sound upon a CHANGE in the subject's electromagnetic field, either through the computer or through an external Audio Visual or speaker system. The change that is recorded, interpreted and interfaced through the computer programs are displayed as an aid to give the subject an indication of their conscious influence over their own body functions. This is done by the computer interfaced programs through evaluation of the subject's electromagnetic field. These devices are mainly used in a therapeutic setting to help individuals retrain stress patterns like tendencies toward elevated blood pressure, organ system function dysfunctions or imbalances and for pain management.

Here's the thing...all one has to do to get a response from the computer interface is to change ANY body function. Simply clenching a fist will be recorded and will ultimately display as oscillations within a certain frequency range. The 0-40Hz frequency range is quite a broad span for these systems and is not specific enough to determine anything other than a body change. Typically a range under 10Hz. is considered to be more subtle and is usually attributed to calm mental states, while ones over 20Hz. are gross and more physical in nature.

Dr. Ross could simply clamp down on his anal sphincter to elicit a response such as the one (0-40Hz.) that he describes as coming through his eyes. ...although strongly focusing his vision on something (a physical action), would likely elicit the response as well.

Now if Dr. Ross could get the computer interface to record and display a consistent frequency of 8-10Hz (deep relaxation of body and mind), that would be significant but not exceptional. My dog does this if you give him a tummy rub .

IMO Dr. Ross is using a biofeedback system to WOW those who are not familiar with the scope and capabilities of the technology; nothing more.
He definitely deserves the award...and possibly a laxative.

Much love, Kensho

He was speaking about experiments and mind control to a bunch of students who think they have the free-est minds, when their minds are shut down because what is seen is known and NO GOOD. The students are brainwashed with fake science.
