A "discipline" in Ramtha-speak means any and all exercises she gives her clients to do. Crayola Field Work, walking around your block, making a spectacle of yourself while hyperventilating.....all "disciplines".

Discipline is a word that is also used in equestrian circles, perhaps when the horse business didn't pan out, and the Arabian business enterprise didn't work out, training two legged animals versus four legged animals, to learn "disciplines" instead of horses, was a natural, given the owners could look out and see the fenced pastures and indoor riding arena now replaced with paying customers that could be toilet trained, conditioned, and 'broken' and taught the disciplines of the right way to walk, to breath, to sit, to talk, to think, and conditioned/trained to return-- like homing pigeons... eventually from all over the globe. Or maybe it implied, "learn to be a, or like, "a disciple"...

A new discipline for developing "the awakened, critical thinking mind":
Through the discipline of "googling" TM, lol. Find information your 'mind' may not have been able to see, or accept,
(like the helmets of the Spanish ) but now, you might be amazed at was there, always, in print, by those not conditioned.
(grin)

Compassion,

JZR "teaches the disciplines", which are techniques that the students are supposed to use as tools toward achieving enlightenment. The student is supposed to do these techniques/disciplines ... disciplining oneself to do them regularly.

The more "dedicated" the student is, the more time they spend doing the assorted disciplines, daily. Some do them little if at all, and some do them for many hours per day.

also interesting to note that the number of 'disciplines' increased over the years -- initially it was just doing c&e - - now there's what, candles, and walking, and ? - I don't really know. - but it seems like that slowly cooking frog thing - an increasing demand of a 'student's' time/energy/involvement - i.e. more and more classical cultlike. jz doesn't want to be bothered, I don't think, with having all those people around all the time - so instead of having 'followers' entrapped in a geographically specific location, she entraps them with the commands to do 'disciplines'.
Equally interesting to note - as has been indicated previously - the Ramtha of the 80's was vehemently opposed to 'disciplines' - documented in any number of recordings from that era.
