President Barack Obama spent about four hours in Seattle on Sunday raising money from a small group of wealthy donors in Medina before rallying a larger audience gathered at the Paramount Theater.

The entry price to the first event, a brunch event at the home of former Microsoft executive Jon Shirley, was $38,500 per couple.

Ah the tables are turned! Ramtha pays $38,000 to have an audience. I thought it was supposed to be: pay $38,000 to have an audience with Ramtha. One can excuse the President for getting it backwards - he's a busy guy!

reminds me of photo ops cult leaders Sri Chinmoy [w pope, prem Gorbechev] and Yogi Bhajan [w Clinton] used to arrange with clueless world leaders, then use these images as PR.

but good for the granddaughter--she got to greet a president--good memory save for what stands behind her--

This Charming Psychopath
How to spot social predators before they attack.
By Robert Hare, published on January 01, 1994 - last reviewed on December 28, 2011
Key Symptoms of Psychopathy

Emotional/Interpersonal:
• Glib and superficial
• Egocentric and grandiose
• Lack of remorse or guilt
• Lack of empathy
• Deceitful and manipulative
• Shallow emotions

Social Deviance:
• Impulsive
• Poor behavior controls
• Need for excitement
• Lack of responsibility
• Early behavior problems
• Adult antisocial behavior

Glib and Superficial
Psychopaths are often voluble and verbally facile. They can be amusing and entertaining conversationalists, ready with a clever comeback, and are able to tell unlikely but convincing stories that cast themselves in a good light. They can be very effective in presenting themselves well and are often very likable and charming.

There is a class of individuals who have been around forever and who are found in every race, culture, society and walk of life. Everybody has met these people, been deceived and manipulated by them, and forced to live with or repair the damage they have wrought. These often charming—but always deadly—individuals have a clinical name: psychopaths. Their hallmark is a stunning lack of conscience; their game is self-gratification at the other person's expense. Many spend time in prison, but many do not. All take far more than they give.
