The Guru Scene

Unread post by Caterpillar »

This 1991 article mentions JZK charging up to $1500 for a private audience with Ramtha who set the price.

JZ/R now engages in private conversation for a minimum of $20,000. She has not created a virtual proxy yet?

JZ is doing well for a ?poor cotton-picker?s? daughter.

Interesting article?

horse of a different color

"To know things about yourself you could never
see changes one's life in unimaginable ways,"
- Private Session participant
I have no idea what that quote means.

But I hear the same [almost exact] statement from people who see 2-bit astrologers. Could there be a connection? 8)

These private sessions with ramtha at $20K appear to be arabian horses of a different color.

If you want a horse of a different color [only $100!], go to:

Hi Joe,

Sure there is a connection...the all knowing, all seeing omniscient one maintains that he/she/it can see all of another's future, past and present in their bands (their electromagnetic field of seven different levels - quit laughing). Some of what is 'seen' there is told to the Private Session Recipient.

It is concerning that other 'predictions' by the Enlightened One are most often wrong; and if that track record holds, what sort of fanciful misinformation might someone take as fact, then in blind faith, act upon it? What if it turns out to be to their detriment? Who holds and takes responsibility for the potential fall out?

It sure won't be a fictitious character (R); for that was created by the public figure of a 'only for profit' corporation (JZ). Nor will it be that public figure or the corporation it represents. Judith herself? Not likely either because she seems to be incapable of recognizing or taking responsibility for her actions.

An interesting point BTW is that JZ often discounted the validity of astrology, frequently referring to horoscopes as
'horror-scopes'. Was an RSE truth being revealed...?

Much love, unbound

Hi Joe and Unbound

Students will hallucinate anything in order to justify the expense for the ?horse?.

Here are three students? experiences over their Unforgettable One-on-One with their beloved Ramtha.

It is interesting these are ?female? students? Hugs and kisses with JZ? Drool? Totally smitten... ?The currency of love is truth?? Drool?

Do we hear JZ, as an authoritarian leader, say something like...
This is my life path. If you want to pay me, I will share with you my essence ride.

Do we hear followers say something like...
I will pay you to show me your essence.

Isn't that an agreement/commitment? If there is an agreement/commitment, where does the anger come from?

decades ago I learned how to cast horoscopes and do astrological readings. I had readings by some famous, published astrologers as well as by just average ones that charge reasonable prices. I'll admit it--I was a quaisi-believer in the art back then but the quasi soon won out over the believer and i have since become a staunch skeptic. I wrote paper about astrology in the 1980s and in it I concluded that it is not astrology that works but astrologers that make it work. iow, if an astrologer can arrive at 'agreement' with a client over a reading of the 'chart' or horoscope then the client and astrologer feel that the system works. A good 'reading' ends in a mutual admiration society and not necessarily the true meaning and purpose of one's life.

This is the same task that psychics like JZ have, namely to get the client to agree. In the astrologer's case the tool of manipulation is the horoscope that purportedly represents a scheme---a scientifically set up scheme btw---that tells the client she or he has a relationship with the cosmos and that the cosmos actually 'cares" about your fate. Instinctively we all want to believe that, that we have a "place and purpose" in this universe. Psychics like JZ who channel non-corporeal beings [or spooks] tap this same anxiety about place and purpose and the desire to know what that is. Psychics and astrologers depend on the client's desire to know the unknowable, to be flattered and chided by a cosmic parent and in the ability to adapt to outrageous suggestions.

We humans have an uncanny ability to adapt to a situation once we take a first step of commitment. Once we commit to a session with a psychic or and astrologer we will find meaning in the session to get value out of our investment. No one wants to say "I was fooled" or "I was manipulated" even if the admission of being fooled comes later.

That's why so many bad marriages and so many bad career choices seem to go on and on. I think it also explains why people stay in cults much longer than they feel comfortable in them.

My "Ramtha conversion moment"

Very true Joe,
Add to that....
Just plain old superstition dressed in New Age garb keeps the show on the road.$$$$

There is another aspect to this subject I would like to mention.
About the time of my second attendance at RSE, I remember experiencing something of a "Ramtha? conversion moment"...!
in this blissful state of mind, better know as a ?Depersonalization disorder" I made a solemn prayer of commitment that at all cost and effort I would give my life over to attending RSE, I was total convinced of ?Ramtha?s? magical powers and loving guidance,
that he was my teacher till the end of my days
My madness and commitment was so entrenched I became a heartless human tsunami to those that I loved..
I swept them aside and anything else that I was convinced by "Ramtha" was holding me back from the RSE path to ?enlightenment?.
The destructive epicenter however, to this day still remains JZ Knight and her greedy Ramtha corporation.
I have noticed....
Over the years and since recovering my life from RSE, I have completely lost my faith in prayer.
I expect this may be common to those recovering from religious cult abuse.

Joe, anyone...
Do you still pray?

David.

Do You Still Pray?

Unread post by Kensho »

A thread in The Aftermath Forum has been created to discuss the topic of prayer and other spiritual practices that may have been changed by attending RSE. Please post comments on this topic there.

I was just going to post about the same (link above)

http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/10/09/sweat. ... topstories

It could only be a matter of time. I don't understand how they get away with packing body upon body at the events when an event is held and all of the resident ramsters are invited too. You can't make your way through the crowd to do anything. It is dangerous and where is the fire marshal?

I wondered also, arguing with myself back when - why jzrk as ""ramtha"" would be a spokeperson for MY OWN GOD? :!:
;-) ;-) ;-)
I can talk to my God or higher power all by myself, thank you. ;-) ;-) ;-) This was one of the early red flags. I mean, what? Am I too stupid to talk to the higher power? Well excuuuuuse me, jzrk.
