Published on May 27, 2020 - Sky News host Andrew Bolt says he is getting “so suspicious” of the things and information Australians are being told and the “exaggerations” being fed to induce panic in society on COVID-19.
“I am not denying the virus is dangerous,” Mr Bolt said.
“But, so many things we were told turned out to be untrue or exaggerated,” when it comes to the deadly pathogen, he said.
Mr Bolt said the fact Australians were told between 50,000-150,000 citizens would die due to the virus was in fact “completely wrong”.
“We were told we'd run out of intensive care beds by April 5. Again, completely wrong”.
“We were told that golf had to be banned to save lives. Nonsense”.
He said he is “not sure” he can “trust that many people any more to tell us the plain, calm, straight truth” in relation to the virus.
