'Google' Terry Cole-Whittaker - she is there...along with Google video.

In the years past, I perceived Terry as a very upbeat and vibrate speaker that was reflecting and sharing her own growth. I saw and experienced a high positive energy from her. My ears received positive energy. Her personal foundation was 'The Science of Mind, Ernest Holmes' teachings.

Furthermore, in the San Diego ministry there was a donation taken...no charge of 'big bucks'. During the S.D. get-togethers were lots of hugs and a strong, embracing message (which I believe in my words is: Love Is The Answer; Love Is The Only Answer.)

If any one wanted to track the words ...AND SO BE IT...the arena period of time of the paragraphs above would be a start.

I wonder if JZKnight did a 'copy-kat' from that period of time, too?

Hello lol:
your quote:I wonder if JZKnight did a 'copy-kat' from that period of time, too?
By that I thought you met that JZ was copying Terry stuff.
Terry was getting tapes from JZR during that period (1984-85 that I known of) ,and somehow some of it was ending up in her semon.
Her Staff and her did not known I was with Bubba at that time, so it was fun for me to see that.

Oldone, Good open communication. Thank you.
I was referencing the words 'and so be it'. I understood that JZ used those words. Is that correct? In addition, Science of Mind churches (Ernest Holmes) used it. Terry, too.

Terry C-W authored five books. One of them is titled, What You Think of Me is None of My Business.
That book was for sale at RSE.

I never heard of her before you guys mentioned her.

http://www.terrycolewhittaker.com/Terry ... /Home.html

She 'teaches' a number of things, including "self realization". Wonder how she defines THAT ? LOL

Sounds too familiar as I read through the courses she offers.

So Be It, was and will always be use at RSE, it is the comfimation on everything that they do,most of the time it is use with the movement of the hand, that start by bringing your hand to you forhead with the So,move your hand straingt away from your for forhead at the sametime that you say Be, and bring your hand straight back by your shoulder with It.

Now you known the secret of So Be It,use it wisely :-) :-)

According to wiki, Terry was in biz in 1975, way before Judith found her "knight in shimmering armour" in her Tacoma kitchen. Going to read the bibliography, and see what else is there. It seems, according to this information, Judith more or less borrowed from Terry, and not the other way around. jmo

Terry Cole-Whittaker is a minister who founded an independent New Thought church in San Diego, California.

She became familiar with what she calls the "principles of prosperity" through the actions of a teacher in high school.

She enrolled in college, where she became the homecoming queen and president of the freshman class. She would later go on to enter the Mrs. America pageant, becoming Mrs. California and winning third place in the national competition. She later joined the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera and became an opera singer. She would not stay with this position long, however. She went on to start a company, Success Plus, in which she became one of the first conductors of human potential seminars for corporations, becoming a successful motivational and inspirational speaker.

She went on to earn a Doctor of Divinity degree in 1973, and was ordained as a minister of the United Church of Religious Science in 1975, and became the pastor of a fifty-member congregation of that church in La Jolla in 1977. The church grew under her leadership, drawing numbers as high as 5,000 for Easter Sunday, and eventually expanded to include a grammar school, ministry school, and five teaching centers. She also began a television program in 1979, which at one time was syndicated to fifteen television stations in the country.

In 1982, Cole-Whitaker left the United Church of Religious Science and founded a separate church, Terry Cole-Whitaker Ministries. She continued to be popular, drawing over four thousand people to her weekly services and traveling as a lecturer and workshop leader. Three years later, in 1985, existing financial concerns prompted her to cease production of the television show and create a new foundation, Adventures in Enlightenment, a Foundation.[1]

The Foundation later purchased land in Washington to build a retreat center and start an organic farm and started an ashram and library in India for the purposes of teaching Westerners traditional Indian religion.

This is from her site: Just thinking here, Terry was into things prior to Judith, it would appear. jmo. Is JZ a Terry wannabe? ;-)

http://www.terrycolewhittaker.com/Terry ... erry_.html

About Terry Cole-Whittaker D. D.

At 17 years of age Terry was given the gift of a teacher who shared with her the knowledge that would open up Terry?s mind to her unlimited possibilities and give her many of the tools to achieve them. Between that time and now, Terry, by using what she had learned from this teacher and other teachers has accomplished everything she desired and much more than she had known was even possible. The spiritual benefits she has gained are far beyond the material benefits because each step on our life?s path leads to the next if we are willing to continue until we attain what we have been seeking in our heart of hearts. It is at this point that we are fully alive and celebrating the joy.

Some highlights of what she was able to do with the knowledge that she received are as follows: As soon as she was given this sacred knowledge by a teacher, she tested the principles and became homecoming queen and freshman class president in college. In order to test the principles of prosperity she entered the Mrs. America Pageant and became Mrs California and 3rd in Mrs. America. She raised two amazing daughters who also learned and applied these teachings. Terry has been able to live in wonderful homes, travel all over the world, and visit holy sites of spiritual pilgrimage. Thinking that singing was her life?s work, she sang with the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera and later became an opera singer. But this was not her path, as teaching these sacred principles was her true calling. Starting her own company Success Plus, Terry was one of the first to conduct human potential seminars for corporate America and Fortune 500, and became a successful motivational and inspirational speaker. She was community and church volunteer; graduated from seminary and became a minister in 1973; authored 5 best-selling books including; What You Think of Me is None of My Business, How to Have More in a Have Not World, Inner Path from Where You are to Where You Want to Be, Love and Power in a World Without Limits-a Woman?s Guide to the Goddess Within, Dare to Be Great and her newest-Creating Your Destiny-A Remarkable Guide to Making Decisions that Give You Happiness and Prosperity. Her work as a minister allowed her to grow a 50 member church into 5,000 on Easter Sundays and be the executive producer and minister of a six year, weekly, international, Emmy-winning television ministry syndicated on 400 markets reaching millions. Her church in La Jolla, CA had a grammar school, school of ministry, and 5 teaching centers. Dr. Terry and her work was featured on over 800 television and radio programs including Oprah, Larry King, Good Morning America and in the leading magazines including Wall Street Journal, US, Newsweek, People, Time, and Family Circle. She was awarded three honorary doctoral degrees and is included in the Hall of Fame of her college. Some of Rev. Terry?s students are the Who?s Who of entrepreneurs, motivational and inspirational teachers and speakers, artists, entertainers, athletes, authors, entertainment and corporate moguls, spiritual leaders, inventors, musicians, educators, and great human beings. Returning to her roots as a nature lover and had her foundation, Adventures in Enlightenment purchase land in Washington state and build a retreat center and develop an organic farm. Adventures in Enlightenment built an ashram and library in India that is being used to teach Vedic knowledge to Western spiritual seekers. Terry has studied with the Mystic Masters of the Far East; studied the great religions and various transformational philosophies of the world. She travels extensively teaching the sacred principles of successful living. Her mission is to work for the welfare of humanity by offering this important message and teaching, to as many people as possible. This is happening through the media ministry of Adventures in Enlightenment. The Wall Street Journal calls her, ?Relentlessly upbeat.?

Maybe Terry was studying the 'competition' as RSE became popular. Also, an opportunity to recruit new students. Whatcha mentioned that Terry's book was sold at RSE so JZ was well-aware of her. They must be learning from each other.

Hello

Well I did not mean to start any kind of argument about those two entity, who is right or wrong.
What I known is that in 1985 Terry was listening the JZR tapes, tapes from early 1984,Did JZ listened to Terry tapes during that time, Would not surprise me at all if she did knowing what we known now about her .the copying Master.
Did JZ and her was Friends I would not known that.
All I known is at an event JZ as Ramtha got on her case in front of everyone and told her that if she keep doing what she was doing something terrible will happen to her,What ever she was doing JZ did not like it at all.
After I left Terry I did not keep up with her at all and did not care for anything she was teaching
or preaching, I was a knowing all Master Ramster, did not need anyone else :-) :-)
The Next time I saw her was when she showed up at the ranch do not remembered exactly when 90-91 maybe, she was surprise to see me there but was polite with me an me with her, that was the last time we talked to each other, don't even remember how long she stayed around.
Why she moved to Washington in the first place? well she mentioned something about that on her Web site,I am sure there is some of it might be truth , I have voice my opinion about that in an earlier post .

Like JZ she is a beautiful look lady, she is a great speaker, great storyteller, and has lot of charisma.
Like JZ she can remember a lot of what she read.
Like JZ she want fame an fortune.
Like JZ she is a sociopath.
To name a few
So to recap
We known that she was listening to JZR tapes form 1984 that a fact.
She moved to Washington and showed up at the Ranch that a fact
That JZR got on her case and told her to stop doing what ever she was doing or else that a fact
For the rest who was copying who, your guest are as good as mine. Me I really don't care
Some of you might think different as you hate JZ and do not known much about Terry except what Wiki has on her witch lot of it come from her own site.

As far as I am concern the two of them pretty much come from the same mold, and are doing the same thing just that for now one is more successful then the other, but that might change who known.
Terry is a Very Very intelligent lady and has learned a lot about JZ and WILL NOT repeat her mistake

About the Bedroom Like Glen C. had access to JZ' s bedroom I had access to Terry"s for a few

Hello Compassion

You are welcome.
Very happy to hear that you are learning from all of us on this site,we also are learning, and learning from each other.

One very interesting point about all of that for me is that I was not able to see in JZR what I was seeing in Terry.
I was already hooked way back then.

Some people might argue that Terry is different then JZ in so many ways an that might be so,but my point is that giving the same opportunity then JZ I think the out come might be similar.I also think Terry would be much more human then JZ.

My wife is telling me that I should stop taking about her, that she might come after me :-) I told her that I will just have to remind Terry about one of her book, (What You Think About Me Is None Of My Business.) :-) :-)

Today IS Always A Good Day :-) :-)
