Vera Stanley Alder's "The Finding of the Third Eye"

Unread post by Kensho »

The following is a compilation of excerpts from Vera Stanley Alder's first book which supports the claim that much of RSE doctrine has been plagiarized from the works of Vera Stanley Alder.

This presentation also reveals that many of the words, phrases and concepts that are promoted by the Ramtha character of RSE are also likely to have been sourced from this and other books by Vera Stanley Alder.

This is the first of a series of similar presentations, undertaken as a service to those who may desire the information. As explained in my letter to Judith Hampton Knight (I am of the opinion that JZ Knight is the personification of a corporation and is not an actual person), the intent behind this undertaking is to provide information; nothing more.

Having said that, of particular interest are the author's cautions regarding 'false teachers' as outlined in CHAPTER 18, as well as the last reference entry of this presentation.

INTRODUCTION

Pg 13, para 1: Referencing by author of humans as gods.
Are human beings potential gods, as they have been told, or are they merely the least of worms?

Pg 15, para 4: Referencing by author to those who prey upon people for cultish profiteering.
His inexperienced eyes are unable to detect the true from the false, and he is at the mercy of many people who seek to enlist him for their own pet cult, or who wish to make profit for themselves by trading upon his virgin curiosity and yearning. If he has a tendency to emotionalism or a love of the sensational, he will be easy prey.

CHAPTER 1 - THINGS AS THEY ARE

Pg 19, para 4: Referencing the Ramtha character's visualization process.
Truth is only to be found 'at the bottom of a well'

Pg22, para 6: Referencing mastering all.
There is nothing to prove that we could not all attain complete mastery over our lives...

Pg24, para 3: Referencing the obtaining an understanding of nature to gain truth. The Ramtha character frequently spoke of his 7 years on the rock observing nature, claiming that he he gained truth and wisdom from that.
...accept these truths we will obtain a very satisfying understanding of the 'workings' of nature, and of certain rules...

Pg 24, para 5/6: Referencing benefits of gaining truth through effort and perseverance. The Ramtha character promoted these benefits as being the marks of a master.
The earliest results achieved will be, firstly a considerable improvement and control of health and looks, a growing capacity for happiness, an inability to worry or fear; a gaining of popularity, and a freedom from boredom.

Pg 24/25, para 7/1: Referencing attainments of advanced students. The Ramtha character often said that he possessed these attainments and that those who followed his instructions could attain them as well.

Very advanced students, such as the Yogis, become unaffected by heat or cold, wounds and poisons. They are able to perform feats usually considered as miracles...have access to regions of wisdom and felicity undreamt of....

CHAPTER 2 - WHAT MODERN SCIENCE SAYS

Pg 26, para 2: Referencing vibrations (In Ramtha speak it is termed ?frequency?).
...everything in life is formed of vibrations (frequency).

Pg 26, para 1: Referencing concepts of vibration and matter that are promoted at RSE.
...vibration (frequency) is the result of force or energy...caused to shake or oscillate at different speeds.

Pg 26, para 3: Referencing atomic structure as promoted at RSE
The composition of an atom,....is a tiny vacuum, round which this force or energy revolves as a vortex...

Pg 27, para 3: Referencing rates of vibration and matter as promoted at RSE
Low (slow) rates of vibration (frequency) form the more static or visible objects...

Pg 27, para 4: Referencing by author that what may sound like scientific fact is not necessarily true or based in science. The Ramtha character on the other hand repeats much of the material that the author discounts as suggestive, as fact.

I would like to say here that the statements in this chapter are not intended to be scientific accuracies, but roughly suggestive for the purposes of our argument. As the 'facts' of science are continually having to be modified or changed we need not take them too seriously. The last word has never been said!

Pg 27, para 7: Referencing the sound, light and colour spectrum of vibration (frequency) as promoted at RSE.
Above the octaves of sound would come those of light and colour vibrations. The colours range from red-the lowest...up to violet. We see this order of colours in the rainbow and the spectrum.

Pg 28, para 1: Referencing vibrations (frequencies) above visible light as promoted at RSE as well as a phrase that the Ramtha character often uses.
Above the violet, colour can no longer be seen by the eye, and we find the ultra-violet rays and
X-ray...Higher up on the scale we come to the magnetic vibrations and their wavelengths, such as those that issue from the mind...

Pg 28, para 2: Referencing a concept and term that the Ramtha character often uses.
...the vibrations (frequencies) of the mind can travel instantaneously...

Pg 28, para 3: Referencing a concept that is promoted at RSE.
Each thought is a vibration (frequency), having a set wave-length!

Pg 29, diagram of vibrations: referencing a concept that is promoted as part of the Ramtha character's model of reality.
The diagram shows a human form contained within the spectrum of vibration (frequency) as it radiates outward from a central point at the crown of its head. The diagram shows solids as being the lowest vibration and moves upward through sound, electricity, heat, light, colour and X-ray. The last four levels are declared to be the unknown (as in ?unlimited unknown?), levels of the etheric vibrations (frequencies), and shows these as being the mental and spiritual levels.

Pg 30, para 1: Referencing a concept that is promoted at RSE as well as a phrase that the Ramtha character often uses. The finest vibrations (highest frequencies)...are within the realm of electrical and magnetic phenomena. These are the forces which man contains within himself, and which can be utilized through the mind.

Pg 31, para 4: Referencing ?remote view?.
When a psychometrist (one with psychic abilities) holds an article...against the awakened ?Third Eye?...he is able to describe the associations attached to it.

Pg 32, para 3: referencing a concept that is heavily promoted at RSE as well as a phrase that is often used there by the Ramtha character, JZ and the staff during their talks to followers.'
...thoughts are things!'
We know that each thought has its definite vibration, (frequency) because this has been proved.

Pg 32, para 4: Referencing a concept that is promoted at RSE.
...by an act of will the mind can cause objects such as metal levers to move...

Pg 32, para 4: Referencing concepts that are promoted at RSE as attainments that are within the reach of their followers.
We have also heard of numberless cases of fakirs and people of that kind having been able to prevent themselves from burning by fire, from suffocating when buried alive, from bleeding from wounds...They can do this by being able to bring into action the power that the finer vibrations (higher frequencies) of the mind have over the lower ones of chemical matter.

Pg 32, para 5: Referencing the author's caution of engaging so called higher mental powers without a full understanding. RSE gives no such cautions to its followers; for example, followers are fully encouraged to engage in hyperventilation (C&E TM) exercises in order to alter the brain and body's normal function.
Sometimes people use these powers without knowing exactly what they are doing, nor what the result will be, as in the case of forms of mental healing...often much harm is done through a lack of a fuller understanding.

Pg 32/33, para 6: Referencing concepts that are promoted at RSE; there known as Blue Body TM Work/Healing.
In curing some diseases, either by self treatment or by a mental healer, the finer vibrations (higher frequencies) of the mind act on the lower vibrations (lower frequencies) of the diseased tissue. This can be performed at the same rate at which the particular mind is able to visualize and concentrate-it may take hours, days or weeks, according to the condition of the patient and the healer.

Pg 33, para 1: Referencing a concept and terms often used by the Ramtha character as well as by JZ and the staff of RSE.
...there have occurred many cases of 'instantaneous' healing, diseased and broken tissues being rendered whole in a flash of time.

Pg 34, para 1: Referencing concepts that are promoted by RSE and terms often used by the Ramtha character as well as by JZ and the staff of RSE.
...there is a certain force controlled by our minds which can act more powerfully over solid matter than anything else...which can act instantaneously and 'miraculously'.

Pg 34, para 2: Referencing a concept that is promoted at RSE.
The only real power to do such things lies within ourselves, but we must first learn to use our own highest vibrations (frequencies).

Pg 35, para 1: Referencing concepts that are promoted at RSE regarding attaining receptivity to the highest vibrational powers.
...although the highest vibrations (frequencies) are the most powerful, we can not get in touch with them within ourselves when our bodies and brains are a mass of struggling, fighting inharmonious vibrations, as is usually the case.

Pg 35, para 3: Referencing concepts that are promoted at RSE regarding the elimination of what is referred to in RSE as the 'monkey-mind' and 'body-mind consciousness'.
...eliminate all inharmonious vibrations (frequencies) from our bodies and brains...
Every unnecessary act, thought, emotion and fear must go!

Pg 36, para 1: Referencing a concept promoted at RSE regarding the creation of reality from thought/intent into matter. At RSE this concept is condensed into the phrase;
'consciousness + energy = reality (C+E=R)TM'.

...the world appears to be made up of the energy of the Being or Mind behind it, whose idea it was!

CHAPTER 3 - THE SECRET KNOWLEDGE

Pg 37/38, para last/first: Referencing a concept promoted at RSE and a phrase often used by the character Ramtha, JZ and staff of RSE.
...by training his microscopical brain, (man) is able to visualize the past, present and future, not only his own little person, country or planet, but of the whole universe.

Pg 38, para 1: Referencing the concept that RSE is apparently based upon; that humans are gods.
Man is an animal, but he is an animal embodying a god.

Pg 38, para 2: Referencing the concept promoted by the character Ramtha that civilizations had been rising and falling for millions of years before this one.
Civilizations had been rising, falling and disappearing aeons before the men who owned the paleolithic skulls were born.

Pg 38, para 3: Referencing terms often used by the Ramtha character, JZ and RSE staff.
All these things are revealed to us in the Ancient or Secret Wisdom...

Pg 38/39, para last/first: Referencing concepts promoted at RSE and terms often used by the character Ramtha, JZ and staff of RSE.
The Great Laws can best be named for us in English as follows:
(1) REPETITION: THE MICROCOSM AND THE MACROCOSM.
(2) EVOLUTION(3) CAUSE AND EFFECT, OR 'KARMA' AND REBIRTH
(4) THE PLAN OF CREATION, OR THE SEVEN PLANES

Pg 40, para 3: Referencing the concept promoted at RSE that all things, even the minerals are conscious.
Beginning at the lowest end of the scale with the minerals, we know that they have an elementary consciousness or mentality...

Pg 42/43, para last/first: Referencing concepts promoted at RSE regarding the Spirit-human connection, and phrases that are often used by the Ramtha character, JZ and staff of RSE.
...mankind came into being because Spirit, or the life force behind everything, wished to develop more creative power. This development could only be accomplished by Spirit being so imprisoned and confined in matter (flesh) that It forgets Its oneness with Wisdom, and has to find everything out afresh through fighting and experience.

Pg 44, para first, 1&2: Referencing concepts, phrases and terms used by the Ramtha character, JZ and staff at RSE in regards to reincarnation.
...some people, at least, have lived before.
...the experience gained in such lives is retained by us...
....there is no injustice or inequality in life, because the egos are choosing their own ways of learning life's lessons, which can only be learnt through experience......we could blame our parents for nothing since we are the masters of our own fate...

Pg 45, para 3: Referencing a concept that is promoted at RSE as 'Ramtha's model of reality'.
The fourth Great Law is that of the PLAN OF CREATION which teaches us about the Seven Planes.

Pg 45, last para: Referencing a concept promoted at RSE regarding a relationship between Planes of consciousness and the endocrine glands of the body.
...these different forces were concentrated into man's body through the channels of his various glands.

CHAPTER 4 ? HOW WE ARE MADE

Pg 49, para 2: Referencing a concept promoted at RSE.
Everything in life, from planet to fly, from a cloud to a grain of sand is interpenetrated by all these seven planes or worlds, and in most cases has a 'body' with which to function in each of them.

Pg 49, para 3: Referencing concepts promoted at RSE regarding multiple bodies of consciousness and vibrational frequency; some physical and some etheric in nature.
This body is interpenetrated by another body...and is made up of the four ethers (in Ramtha speak the bodies that are beyond visible light are referred to as the frequency bodies of the 4th - 7th seals). This is called the 'etheric' body (ultra-violet blue-body) and constitutes a fine web through which the electric and life-forces are fed...

Pg 49, para 4: Referencing a concept promoted at RSE regarding what is collectively known as the infra-red frequency band/plane that governs pain and suffering.
The next of the Seven Planes is called the Astral World (infra-red plane). It is called by some the Desire World (social consciousness), as it is the sphere of emotions or desires. It contains the substance that stirs or motivates us. It is the world of attraction and repulsion.

Pg 49, para 5: Referencing a concept promoted at RSE regarding what is known as the infra-red frequency body and its abilities.
It is possible for man, the individual, to separate his astral body (infra-red body) from his physical body and wander about in it.

Pg 49, para 6: Referencing concepts that are promoted at RSE and terms often used by the Ramtha character.
The counterparts of physical things are made up of the lowest and densest stratum...

Pg 50, para 1: Referencing concepts that are promoted at RSE regarding the material plane, known at RSE as the frequency band/plane of visible light.
The third of the Seven Great Planes (visible light) is the world of thought or mind. The densest stratum of this Plane contains our more worldly and material thoughts.

Pg 50, para 2: Referencing concepts that are promoted at RSE regarding the location of the Spirit and its abilities.
The fourth Plane (ultra-violet blue) is that of the Will or Life-Spirit, and it is of this world that the real individual, the Ego is a part.
...he becomes omnipotent and has achieved conquest over matter. He can, after careful training, shed his physical body like a coat and, leaving it safely in the nourishing care of its etheric web (ultra-violet blue body/web), continue his activities in his other bodies, or 'vehicles' as they are called.

Pg 51, para 3: Referencing a concept that is heavily promoted at RSE regarding abilities/attainments of those who can move into levels of consciousness beyond the confines of the physical body. Followers are assured that this ability/attainment is a reasonable expectation of all who participate in the 'disciplines' of RSE.
...imagine having eyes that see right through everything in all directions at once, you are visualizing your condition when functioning in the Astral World! (frequency bands beyond visible light)

Pg 52, para 5: Referencing concepts that are promoted at RSE regarding the attributes of the 'higher frequency bodies'; from the 'ultra-violet blue body' and beyond.

Man's spiritual body is composed of the finest and most high-frequency vibrations of all, and can for that reason take control of all the lower ones. It can travel so fast that it can appear to be 'everywhere at once'. When man can consciously function in his spirit-body he is able to conquer time and space...

Pg 53, diagram: Referencing a similar diagram that is used at RSE where the seven bands of frequency vibration are shown to engulf the physical body. This diagram also shows the centers within the physical body which RSE refers to as the seven seals.

Pg 54, last para: Referencing concepts that are promoted at RSE regarding the ability of the 'higher frequency bodies' (ultra-violet blue-body) to instantly manifest the miraculous.
...the spirit can act instantaneously, rearranging the vibrations (frequencies) and re-forming them. This fact is probably the basis of the performance of 'miracles'...

CHAPTER 5 ? HOW WE ARE CLASSIFIED

Pg 60, para 4: Referencing a concept that RSE promotes regarding astrology. It is worth noting that the Ramtha character as well as JZ regularly debase astrology and discourage followers from utilizing it.
'The wise man is master of his stars, the fool is ruled by them.'

No further references in this chapter as the topic is largely to do with astrology.

CHAPTER 6 ? MALE AND FEMALE

Pg 74, para 3: Referencing a concept that RSE promotes regarding the electro-magnetic nature of gender.
...male is the positive or electrical quality and female is the magnetic, receptive or negative quality.

Pg 74, para 3: Referencing a similar explanation of terms often used by the Ramtha character in his talks to followers.
The word 'negative' is here used in its electrical application, and means that which does not act but holds power. It does not represent futility or weakness...

Pg 74, para 4: Referencing a concept that the Ramtha character uses in his talks, and is promoted at RSE.
...you have a current of electricity passing down a 'pole'...the pole can be...a person..;one side of the pole is the 'positive or electrical side, and the other side is the 'negative' or magnetic side.

Pg 76, para 6: Referencing the heavily used symbol of the triangle in association with mysticism/alchemy at RSE.

The alchemists expressed the Triangle in their own way...that which builds and acts within our own bodies.

Pg 77, para 4: Referencing a concept that is heavily promoted at RSE and terms often used by the character Ramtha, JZ and staff of RSE.
This force is called by the Easterns the Kundalini, and is likened to a serpent of fire lying coiled at the base of the spine.

Pg 78/79, last/first para: Referencing the heavily promoted use of hyperventilation techniques at RSE.

Here the author cautions against their use in association with materialism like that also heavily promoted at RSE;under the heading of 'fabulous wealth'. Similarly the author cautions that the use of such breathing techniques by those without proper training (the ignorant) or by the materially minded often results in mental illness.
It leaves us to wonder if those who promote the use of these techniques at RSE either agree with or know this information and choose to disregard it or if they disbelieve it. It is also possible that the techniques are utilized intentionally to obtain a 'particular' result within the minds of their followers.

Many highly dangerous breathing exercises originating in the East are designed with the purpose of arousing the Kundalini. They bring disastrous results when used by ignorant or materially minded people. Sometimes the same issue is achieved when those with mixed motives fling themselves violently into the various religious cults and 'isms'; we hear that their final goal turns out to be a mental home.

Pg 80, last para,: Referencing a concept that the character Ramtha has often repeated and is promoted by JZ/RSE regarding gender expression and sexual preferences with respect to homosexuality.
...men and women change their sex at various incarnations. This change sometimes produces a masculine woman or a feminine man...

CHAPTER 7 ? BIRTH, SLEEP AND DEATH

Pg 82, para 1: Referencing terms often used by the character Ramtha.
Indeed, many people will draw back with a feeling of resentment.

Pg 82/83, last/first para: Referencing a concept heavily promoted at RSE regarding a connection between the 'frequency bodies/planes of consciousness' and the endocrine glands.
...the birth of the physical body precedes that of the other 'bodies', each one of which is intimately connected with one of the seven principle Endocrine Glands.

Pg 84, para 1: Referencing words that the character Ramtha often uses.
...it is at this age (49 years) that his 'Higher Mind' should come into birth, giving him a subtle capacity for the highest and loftiest achievement.

Pg 85, last para: Referencing a concept promoted at RSE regarding out of body experiences.
..the ego or individual can and does leave the body during sleep.

Pg 87, para 4: Referencing a concept that is heavily promoted at RSE. Followers are often told that they have not attained or achieved their desires because of a lack of dedication to practice what is promoted at RSE as the methods (disciplines) of attainment.
How near he gets to his desire depends on the extent of his concentration and will-power.

Pg 87, para 5: Referencing a concept that is promoted at RSE regarding multi-dimensional worlds of time and frequency acting simultaneously in one location.
Another condition of the Astral World (Planes other than this 'frequency') is that many things can be happening in the same spot without being aware of one another, as it were...

Pg 88, first para: Referencing a concept that is promoted at RSE regarding a practice of recalling, recording and interpreting dreams upon awakening.
We retain at best a jumbled and inconsequent translation of our dream. This is where the need of training comes in. We should concentrate on exercising a strong grip upon ourselves at the instant of awakening. By this simple expedient we may soon learn consciously to profit by our experiences.

Pg 88, para 2: Referencing a concept that is promoted at RSE regarding a practice of 'creating the night' by way of directing/holding the mind to an intent.

...before sleeping we should tune our minds to our highest aspirations, as this will determine the realms we are able to reach.

Referencing a concept that is promoted at RSE regarding what happens to human beings after death. RSE doctrine promotes that the state of one's mind creates that person's future reality:
Pg 88, para 3:

...consider what is said to happen when Death has snapped the Silver Cord, and the person is finally separated from his physical body
Pg 88, para 4:
Those who expect, because of their guilt, hell-fire and goblins, have created that charming reception for themselves...
Pg 88, para 5:
The miser will probably made for his use a heaven full of nothing but gold pieces.
The disbeliever in after-life will have created for himself a horrible blank abyss.

Pg 89, last para: Referencing concepts that are promoted at RSE regarding the multi-dimensional planes that human beings exist in simultaneously with their present one, as well as the promotion of the concept that attainment of a continuous state of consciousness is within the reach of followers of RSE. The Ramtha character claims to have achieved this state of continuous multi-dimensional consciousness without every dying a physical death; ascending to god-hood in the process.
...realize that life on the Physical Plane is but a fraction of the whole and that the sage or Yogi of both East and West is endeavoring to train his mind to a state of continued unbroken consciousness throughout waking, sleeping, death, and onwards to the next incarnation upon earth.
...In this way does man finally become a god.

CHAPTER 8 ? BREATHING

Pg 90, para 6: Referencing a term that the character Ramtha often uses.
...the law of gravitation...

Pg 91, para 1: Referencing a concept that is promoted at RSE in the breath work known as C&E TM.
...if it is desired to clean and refresh the lungs, very prolonged outward breathing is the most efficacious.

Pg 93, first para: Referencing that RSE promotes this sort of disassociation through the 'discipline' called C&ETM., which is a form of hyperventilation breath work.
The breath quickens, the blood heats up, and this drives the ego slightly out of the body, so that sensations are little felt. That is why intoxicated persons seldom hurt themselves. We can do and suffer things in 'hot blood' which we can never achieve in 'cold blood'.

Pg 93, para 3: Referencing that RSE regularly plays loud music that has as its main components drum & percussion instrumentation.
Martial music is designed to quicken the breath and the emotions.

Pg 93, para 6: Referencing that RSE promotes this through the use of its breath work techiniques and by encouraging vigorous dancing at the start of each session.
By quickening the breath the body loses its powers of self-protection and exhausts and injures itself without feeling it at the time.

Pg 94, para 2: Referencing that the author cautions against using anything but the more sedate, slow breathing techniques.
...it is extremely dangerous for the average person to attempt any of the more complicated systems sometimes unwisely given out, which might lead them into a mental home or worse.

CHAPTER 9 ? SECRETS OF COULOUR
No quotes

CHAPTER 10 ? SECRETS OF SOUND
No quotes

CHAPTER 11 ? THE SCIENCE OF NUMBERS
No quotes

CHAPTER 12 ? DIET & EXERCISE

Pg 116, para 3: Referencing a concept that RSE promotes and a term that the character Ramtha often uses.
It is of paramount importance to realize that the body is built by the mind or the ego. We are what we think.

Pg 117, para 7: Referencing a concept and phrases that the character Ramtha often repeats.
The body should not be disdained, misunderstood or driven to death. It is our wonderful servant...

Pg 120, para 3: Referencing that RSE followers are told that drinking wine 'drops the veil' (presumably of the personality) and allows a more open mind to receive 'teachings' and learn.
Alcohol is an artificial stimulant and a poison. Its action if taken in any quantity is to drive the ego partly out of the body.

Pg 120, para 4: Referencing the author's caution regarding excessive alcohol consumption and a term often used by the character Ramtha, JZ, staff and followers of RSE.
Constant driving out of the ego through alcoholism loosens its grip upon the body and allows outside entities or influences to gain admittance, with the various and dire results, such as obsessions and deliriums while the victim is still partly conscious...

CHAPTER 13 ? THE THIRD EYE

Pg 127, para 4: Referencing a term that the character uses in regards to the 'barrier' that sits between the personality and the all-knowing 'spirit' of RSE followers. RSE followers are encouraged to drink alcohol to 'drop the Veil'.
...draw away the Veil still further...

Pg 127/128, first/last para: Referencing the author's caution regarding false teachers and terms that are commonly used by the character Ramtha and by most who are in attendance at RSE. Also referencing that the character Ramtha regularly engages in the very discussions that the author claims to be the hallmarks of false teachers.
We hear of intimate relationships with the 'Masters', of mystic experiences upon the 'path'. We are given full details of 'initiations', reincarnations, and Magic Black and White! Hundreds of societies and cults with scores of 'Teachers' have sprung up everywhere like mushroom growth-and of course they mostly claim to be the especial instrument of the 'Great White Lodge' (brotherhood).
Now, it may be that many of these people are childish, and that some of them remain materialistic, and jealous, and even profiteer with their spiritual goods!

Pg 128, para3: Referencing that the author has observed that all of the so called modern versions of the Ancient Wisdom or occult schools promote the same sort of fundamental things; RSE is no exception although the claim is made that 'there is no other school like this one' and 'that you will not learn this anywhere else'.

...everything that is being given out everywhere bears the same stamp, posits the same laws, and makes fundamentally the same promises, in spite of superficial and surface differences.

Pg 128, para 6: Referencing the author's caution regarding false teachers.
...among these cults are to be found many cranks, hypocrites and other undesirables...
It is necessary always to distinguish between the Teaching and the Teacher...

Pg 129, para 4: Referencing a concept promoted by RSE and terms that are often used by the character Ramtha.
We hear first of all of the great Plan for the evolution of humanity, which develops through Spirit ensouling seven great Races and dwelling on seven great Continents, of which Lemuria and Atlantis were the first two.

Pg 130, first para: Referencing the concept promoted by RSE that one must 'pass' initiations to progress on the path of enlightenment.
The first to pass these mystic examinations (called Initiations)...

Pg 133, para 3: Referencing a concept promoted by RSE regarding the ability of Masters to remote view by attaining the consciousness of the Fourth Dimension, known at RSE as the ultra-violet blue level of consiousness.
He also studies the records of earth's history which exist in the ethers in photographic form. He also gains an acquaintance with the plane described as the Fourth Dimension, the power to penetrate with one's sight or consciousness in every direction at once, and backwards and forwards through time.

Pg 133, last para: Referencing a concept promoted by RSE that followers must 'raise their frequency' to a higher one than the one that is most commonly expressed and sensed through.
Truth is the essence of Purity, and therefore, as the Sage knows, can only be contacted by one of a like vibration.

Pg 134, para 4: Referencing a concept promoted by RSE that single pointed concentration is the key to correct application of 'focus'.
The effort of the Yogi, or any spiritual aspirant, is directed toward achieving one-pointedness (single-pointedness) of the mind.

Pg 134, para 4: Referencing a concept promoted by RSE that one can 'create reality and manifest it into the physical by manipulating higher frequencies.
He can create from the inside with the invisible sources of things.

Pg 135, para 3: Referencing concepts promoted by the character Ramtha and RSE as well as terms often used by the character Ramtha.
When once he has set his feet firmly upon the path of attainment his earnest aspirations will burn the dross out of his body and mind. Then by degrees the centres of force (seals) located within his seven major glands will be enabled to function. These centres, named by Indians chakras, connect him with the knowledge of and power consciously to work in different planes of matter.

Pg 136, first para: Referencing a concept that is promoted by the character Ramtha and RSE regarding the 'soul and the body of the spirit' located in the heart. The character Ramtha claims that the soul has a physical weight of 13 oz. And has often referred to a cord; sometimes described as being gold, silver, red or green in colour.
Sequestered in one of the ventricles of the heart is what is called the 'seed-atom' of man's physical body. It contains a minute image of the man himself, and his own body is said to be a large replica if it. This seed atom is the little record, the actual essence of man's personality, the link or channel between him and his soul. It holds the 'silver cord' to the heart...

Pg 136/37, first/last para: Referencing terms and phrases that are commonly used by the character Ramtha, JZ, RSE staff and followers.
Then the birth of the God in Man takes place- 'Unless ye be reborn...' we must quote the Christ in this connection because His great work,...

Pg 137, first para: Referencing the author's claim that since the coming of Jesus Christ, that spiritual enlightenment can be achieved without the sort of strict training promoted by RSE.
Since His coming it has no longer been necessary to have strict occult training and deep mental development before spiritual heights can be achieved.

Pg137, last para: Referencing the author's claim that spiritual and/or mystical training is not for everyone.
It is not necessary for all of us to travel the occult path, to study deeply and to train as mystics. We are all at different stages along the 'Path'.

Pg 138, para 2: Referencing a concept regarding the retention of the personality's limitations over centuries: often repeated by the Ramtha character.
...overcome [/b]habits of thought embedded in our personalities for centuries.

Pg 138, para 4: Referencing a concept that is promoted by RSE regarding humans becoming gods, as well as a phrase that is used by the Ramtha character regarding the attainment of an ability to perceive/see all things in all dimensions.
...the gate of man's deliverance, his birth as a god in human form, is heralded by the re-opening of the 'Third Eye', after which he will remain no longer blind to everything in life except the tiny excrescence which we call the physical World!

CHAPTER 14 ? FIRST STEPS TO MASTERY

Pg 139, para 2: Referencing a concept promoted by RSE regarding the conscious choices a being makes with respect to its next reincarnation, and a term that the character Ramtha has used in his talks.
...the ego decides before birth upon the experiences, hardships and conditions of life by means of which it shall learn its next lesson, develop its 'spiritual muscle', upon earth.

Pg 139, para 3: Referencing a concept promoted by RSE that beings 'choose' all of its conditons and experiences before reincarnating and often selects others with whom it had a relationship to reincarnate with it.
It then chooses, or is drawn to, a birthdate which will tune it in to such conditions, and selects parents with whom it had already built up certain Karma or obligations in former lives.

Pg 139, para 4: Referencing a concept and term promoted by RSE that beings reincarnate to overcome flaws of character; this is termed evolution at RSE.
The issue at hand is to learn a certain spiritual law, to cure a certain defect in character, and to develop a certain quality of mastery.

Pg 140, first para: Referencing terms commonly used at RSE and by the Ramtha character.
...establish a direct link with the Great Plan, the joy of which super-conscious Knowledge will uphold him through all experiences.

Pg 140, para 2: Referencing terms commonly used by the Ramtha character and at RSE.
We have to learn to taste life to the very dregs while listening for the inner spiritual message which it teaches, and never losing sight of the inevitable and glorious goal-Godhood!

Pg 142/143, last/first para: Referencing terms and phrases that the Ramtha character uses as well as a concept promoted by RSE.
...we must learn to transmute our petty physical possessiveness back to its divine origin.

Pg 143, para 2: Referencing a phrase that the Ramtha character often uses and a concept that both the Ramtha character and RSE repeat and promote.
...we can give undivided attention to anything we do. The completely undivided attention of the mind is all-powerful, omnipotent, a force that can burn through everything and bend everything to its command.

Pg 146, para 2: Referencing a phrase that the Ramtha character uses in his talks.
'Man, know Thyself' was inscribed over the doors of the wonderful ancient temples of learning as the most important injunction to all aspirants.

Pg 146, para 5/6: Referencing a concept promoted by RSE regarding reviewing the day at its end and remembering the dreams of the night upon awakening.
The two most marked points in a person's life are the beginning and the end of his day, and it is to these, first of all, that we must give especial attention.
There is a certain exercise which is given throughout the world to all those who are seeking 'wisdom and perfection'. It is considered of primary importance, and like all exercises depends for its effect upon the regularity of its performance.

Pg 146, para 7: Referencing the concept promoted by RSE regarding reviewing the events of the day at its end.
It consists of a careful review of the events and actions of the day before going to sleep.

Pg 147, para 4: Referencing a term that the Ramtha character often uses and the concept promoted by RSE regarding recording and interpreting dreams upon awakening.
The second of these vital exercises must take place at the moment of awakening. An effort of the will should be made to capture and 'remember' dreams or experiences of the night before they rapidly fade from the memory.

CHAPTER 15 ? MEDITATION

Pg 148, para 1: Referencing a concept that the character Ramtha promotes.
'It is in silence that the soul speaks.'

Pg 148, para 5: Referencing a concept that RSE promotes regarding the attainment of super-natural perception through the use of meditation (focus).
By means of Meditation man learns to concentrate and project his attention straight through the physical plane to the Fourth dimension, then later to further dimensions.

Pg 148, para 6: Referencing a phrase that the character Ramtha uses in his talks regarding experiences that are attainable in other dimensions.
He learns much that can not be expressed in words or even in 'physical' thought.

Pg 148, para 6: Referencing terms that are used by the Ramtha character, JZ, staff and followers of RSE.
Often this is well-nigh impossible, and, instead, the knowledge is absorbed and held by his super-conscious mind.

Pg 150, para 7: Referencing terms that the character Ramtha often uses.
The soul is the ego's intermediary between the world of spirit and the world of matter, the storehouse of the results of experiences in both realms...

Pg 150, para 7: Referencing a phrase that the character Ramtha often uses.
The soul has been likened to a mirror which can reflect the spirit world into the physical...

Pg 151, diagram: Referencing similarities between the diagram described below and the diagrams that appear in RSE publications and on posters mounted on the wall within the RSE main building.
Pictured are two human bodies, side by side. On each of them seven small circles are drawn.
The first figure shows the location of the endocrine glands and names them. The second shows the location of the 'force centres' or chakras and names them according to the Eastern philosophies of Buddhism and Hinduism . On both of the human figures the location of the endocrine glands and the location of the force centres are pictured as being at the same place.

Pg 152, para 1 & 2: Referencing firstly the posture that the Ramtha character and RSE promote as the posture that 'Masters' sit in and meditate in. When seated upon the ground, followers are instructed to place their hands palms down upon their knees unless they are performing a particular 'discipline' that calls for an alternate hand posture.
Also referencing a concept that has been repeated by the Ramtha character regarding locking the body in the seated meditation posture to avoid falling over.

The early Egyptians used to sit very upright upon a chair with the eyes gazing straight ahead, the hands palms downwards upon the knees, the elbows well tucked in to throw out the chest, the heels together and the toes apart.
The Indians meditate mostly sitting cross-legged upon the ground.
...the body is locked and balanced in such a manner that should the devotee pass into a trance he cannot fall over.

Pg 153, para 1: Referencing a term that the Ramtha character uses.
In some occult parlance...

Pg 153, para 6: Referencing a concept that is promoted by RSE regarding the concentration of the mind; termed 'focus' at RSE.
The process of Concentration...consists in getting full control over the personality and then, when the aspirant's whole make-up is stilled and passive, in concentrating the attention of the brain to one point, keeping it clear, steady and empty of stray thoughts, waiting to receive the information which the mind is collecting.

Pg 153, para 7: Referencing a phrase that is often used by the character Ramtha, JZ, and the staff of RSE.
Meditation consists in studying with great thoroughness one object, subject, quality or force in life. As we have before stated the concentrated one-pointed (single-pointed)mind...

Pg 154, diagram: referencing the hand position that is promoted at RSE as being able to concentrate energy/frequency/vibration to and from the one who uses it. This hand posture known as the 'C&E TM position' and is taught to followers of RSE for use in the RSE 'disciplines'. It is used in most 'disciplines' at RSE; sometimes for hours on end.
Pictured is the Buddha in meditation. He sits in the full lotus posture with his right arm bent at the elbow and the palm of his right hand is held fingers pointing upward and facing outward in front of his chest. His left arm is also bent at the elbow and the fingers of that hand point outward with the palm held open.

Pg 154/155, last/first para: Referencing the process that RSE promotes as the method for its 'focus' discipline.
He will first concentrate...building up in his mind as vivid and complete a picture...
Then, holding the picture steadily before his mind's eye (in Ramtha speak this is known as the observer), he will begin to meditate...

Pg 155, para 2: Referencing the author's caution with respect to experiences one may have during meditation.
Needless to say, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. It is better thoroughly to understand what is happening, to avoid the danger of self-deception creeping in.

Pg 156, para 3: Referencing a concept that the character Ramtha has repeated almost verbatum.
...man can cease to be as a puppet dancing on the end of a string jerked by some unknown hand. He can learn to climb the string with his mind and will and take control of the hand.

CHAPTER 16 ? HISTORY OF THE WISDOM

Pg 159, para 3: Referencing a concept that the character Ramtha promotes.
The Atlanteans were said to have founded the Egyptian culture and to have built the Sphinx, and their descendants the Pyramid.

Pg 160, para 1: Referencing a concept and the term that the character Ramtha uses to describe himself.
We find also that a realization and consciousness of the inner realities was the prerogative of ancient man all over the world even if he lived as a barbarian.

Pg 160, last para: Referencing a concept that is promoted by RSE. Followers have been instructed to both draw and make 'paper dolls' to represent the seven bodies described.
The Egyptians named, described, and drew man's seven bodies, and went fully into all his activities after death.

CHAPTER 17 ? THE PRESENT AWAKENING

Pg 166, para 2: Referencing a phrase often used by the character Ramtha, JZ and the staff of RSE.
H.P. Blavatsky...founded the work which has been carried forward by the Theosophists and which consists of a modernization of some of the Ancient Doctrines, together with public instruction in the form of lectures and libraries.

Pg 168, para 2: Referencing a term that the Ramtha character often uses.
...leadership in all phases of human living, fired by a lofty ideal...

Pg 169, para 2: Referencing a term that the Ramtha character often uses.
...find that blinkers (blinders) and barriers...

CHAPTER 18 ? DANGERS IN THE PATH

Pg 170, para 1&2: Referencing the author's caution regarding the path to enlightenment, as well as phrases and terms that the character Ramtha uses.
He who seeks Truth, the Philosopher's Stone, and is determined to uncover and master the secrets of the universe for himself, is treading a Path beset with pitfalls, dangers and illusions. The weakest points in his character, the tiniest chinks in his armour will cunningly be assailed.
Honesty is the talisman which will enable him to reach and to recognize Truth-plain honesty about himself, his purpose, and other people.

Pg 170, para 3: Referencing terms that the character Ramtha often uses.
Seekers are side-tracked mainly by two things, a love of sensationalism and laziness, both of which undermine their honesty.

Pg 170, para 4: Referencing a concept and term that the character Ramtha promotes and uses.
To attain this inestimable reward of wisdom, man must expect and be eager to go through at least as much discipline, study and restriction as he would endure while training the piano or training as a boxer.

Pg 171, para 5, 6 & 7: Referencing the author's means of identifying a deluded aspirant and/or a false spiritual teacher. Also referencing activities, terms and phrases that RSE uses which seems to identify it and the character Ramtha as deluded/false.
A truly wise one will sparing of words, nor will he loosely speak of initiations, Masters, visions, guides, or his own powers. People who talk of these things are childish-they have not felt the awe and reverence which first-hand knowledge gives.
A wise one will never ask money for teaching spiritual things; it is against the Law. He will have reached the stage where money sufficient for his needs comes without the asking. Nor will he even try to persuade anyone to do or to think anything, nor will he attempt to teach unless earnestly asked to do so; for he has learnt to have the greatest care for another's free-will. A 'wise one seldom uses the word 'I'.
He will never attack anyone, or any cause, yet he is full of strength and energy. He has learnt to be 'wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove'. He is not a crank on any one subject. He has become such a reservoir of love and of constructive thought that he is a worker of 'White Magic';lucky to those around him and the bringer of 'miracles' to pass.

Pg 172, para 1: Referencing the author's claim that a true spiritual teacher is often 'aped' by a charlatan.
He is sometimes very cleverly aped by the charlatan, or he who tries to serve both God and Mammon, the worker of 'black magic', the bogus 'Spiritual Teacher'.

Pg 172, para 2: Referencing what the author identifies as some of the identifying features of the false teacher's personality.
This latter is usually very attractive to others. He has a strong personality, and often arouses extreme love and devotion in the people around him.

Pg 172, para 4: Referencing what the author identifies as some of the activities of a false spiritual teacher.
A person who poses as a highly evolved being, a teacher of others, and yet has human habits and frailties, makes a tremendously strong appeal, because his achievement, apparently, needs little discipline and rigidity. For that reason his followers are eager to adore his personality, and he allows, against the Law, such adoration. Thereby he feeds his own vanity and their attachment to physical form. They are not encouraged to discriminate, but to believe blindly what he teaches them. And the 'teacher' once this blindness is established, encounters no spur of criticism or judgment to keep him to the giving of his best. So the little community soon becomes a sham and intellect retires.

Pg 172/173, last/first para: Referencing what the author identifies as the end result for the 'teacher' and for the followers who dedicate themselves to a false spiritual teacher
The inevitable result of this situation is that a hypnotic condition arises, due firstly to the teacher's desperate desire to keep his followers' attention fixed only upon himself, so that they will not discover better things outside and cease to contribute to his sustenance;and secondly to the wish of his followers to give themselves up to the lazy, emotional state of adoring a physical personality, believing wonders without the use of intelligence, and flattering themselves with the importance of possessing a 'great teacher'.

Pg 173, para 2: Referencing what the author claims occurs within the circle of false teachers and their followers.
Fraudulence, destructiveness, perversion and intellectual distortion flourish in this soil, and the link with the higher mind is broken.

Pg 173, para 3: Referencing what the author identifies as a breaking of the moral and ethical Law which True spiritual teachers' supposedly abide by.
Any desire for power over others for either good or bad reasons is an act contrary to the great Law which stipulates complete free-will. The moment such power is established, we have a state of hypnotism, in slight or intense form, and therefore a condition of 'black magic'.

CHAPTER 19 ? THE SUMMING UP

Pg 181, para 6: Referencing a term that the Ramtha character often uses.
From that which is called the...

Pg 181, para 7: Referencing a term that the Ramtha character often uses.
...realize that true service is first of all to 'Be'.

Pg 182, para 1: Referencing a phrase that the Ramtha character often uses.
...speak to each one in his own language and...

Pg 182, para 2: Referencing a concept and phrase that the Ramtha character uses.
...from Initiate to Master, from Master to Lord of the Planet and so on upwards and onwards...

Pg 182, last para: Referencing phrases and terms that the Ramtha character often uses.
Men exist as partially dead creatures until they have used this key and opened their hearts and minds to Reality. Then they are flooded with such life and brilliance and illumination that they do indeed experience a 'second birth' infinitely greater that the first.

Pg 184, para 1: Referencing a term that the Ramtha character often uses as well as a concept/phrase that is used by RSE.
In true sacrifice and service we use our individuality and keep our personality in complete abeyance. This is [b:842

Estate/family of Vera Stanley Alder - where are you!? Talk about violation of copyright. I've read some of Alder's books after leaving RSE and was stunned jzrk managed to pull this violation off. I thank EMF and factnet for all they've provided in this vein, as well as Joe for his offering of source material.

J Zerox, indeed! ;-) ;-) ;-)

Cool post unbound

Ole Judi's still claiming blue body is found nowhere else on the planet - maybe Ramsters should read a bit of Vera Stanley Alder for themselves & see where Judi's inspiration came from

Hello gazza,

Oh, but it gets even more 'enlightening' when one has a look through Vera Stanley Alder's second book, "From the Mundane to the Magnificent". That book details the body that is blue along with in depth descriptions of blue webs, seven levels, intensified perceptions and dimensional travel...all served up by a discarnate being who teaches the author to leave her body and then takes her on 'little outings'. There she sees things from the perspective of the fourth dimension and beyond...

I have compiled it already and will get to typing it up as time allows.

Much love, unbound

Unbound, you are providing a great service here as Vera Stanley Alder?s books are out of print. I have seen the series at the local Theosophy library although ?From the Mundane to the Magnificent? is the only one ?missing? in that library.

?From the Mundane to the Magnificent? book seems to be the most difficult to acquire and also has an expensive price, compared with her other books. I wonder why? Perhaps it is another antique (or evidence) that J.Zerox is collecting (or hiding).

I have bought a copy from eBay recently.

Hi unbound,

My hat is off to you. I commend you on your time and effort put into your compilation. I am sure it will help many in seeking the truth about what spouts out of the big guy/gals Mouth. Congratulations!!!

gazza, welcome,

aew you sure it was not a typo and meant to read like this?:
Ramtha?s teachings on Blue Body? and its powerful ability for healing and eradication of disease in the body have already helped( count less) people in their healing process since he first shared this knowledge in the early 1990s.

Books published in the US prior to 1964 whose copyrights were not renewed are in the public domain. On searching the copyright renewal database at Stanford University, it appears that none of the copyrights on Vera Stanley Alder's books were renewed. When books fall out of copyright and into the public domain, anyone is free to do with them as they wish, however they cannot claim copyright on the material. If the material was substantially revised, they can claim copyright on their revised work.

I watched a good portion of part 1 of the Glen Cunningham interview last night, and there was some discussion of JZ quoting from old books. I suspect that JZ understands public domain, and that she purposely uses public domain as her source material.

Another source?

I was just sent this link by a friend who seemed to be impressed:
http://www.near-death.com/experiences/cayce11.html

It all sounds so familiar, when compared to all the "facts" my daughter has quoted to me from ramtha's teaching, and the stuff I have picked up here. It would appear, if you want to get "enlightened" there are numerous sources of such enlightenment!.

Hello Sad Grandfather,

QUOTE: "It would appear, if you want to get "enlightened" there are numerous sources of such enlightenment!."

In undertaking the project of transcribing the plagiarism of Judith from Vera Stanley Alder, I have become aware that there are too many counts of similar "idea theft" from other sources to mention or cite. It would seem that Judith as well as other so called spiritual leaders, pull information from a central pool of pseudo-spiritual theories. Perhaps before regurgitating them, they slightly alter it to suit their purposes, but ultimately most claim that the information has come to them through divine source as original material.

Given the overwhelming evidence of this seemingly common practice (Cayce is no exception), I have decided to abandon the undertaking of citing specifics of plagiarism in Judith's case. I prefer instead to spend the time and effort that would be required to continue with it on things that have more meaningful purpose to me personally.

I do sincerely apologize to those who were waiting for the review of Judith's plagiarism from Vera Stanley Alder's book, The Third Eye. This book is often available on-line but in my opinion is not worth the hefty price...even if it is out of print. I do offer my copy, along with my notes (already partially transcribed) to anyone who wishes to undertake continuing with the transcription of Judith's plagiarism of this book.

I don't read such books because I have always been a skeptic, though I did read a book reccommended by Caterpillar, about Quantum Physics, which I sent on to my grandson who has followed his mother into the ramtha maze. I found the Quantum book interesting because I have a scientific background.

I tend to find all books regarding the occult, psychic phenomena, etc, are absurd and bore me to tears.

Thanks. This was the magic bullet I pondered for years. The core message (business model) of RSE was done well and precise. I always wanted to find the "ancient" book that Judith owned that nobody else knew about.

This is another reason this site is so valuable! I found out about VSA from this site, bought this book online for $2 online and I knew where all the Info was coming from, knew it. For those who aren't into reading it Kensho did an excellent job with the above summary. Funny how all the recommended readings didn't include these books? I sent the book to my indoctrinated FM (family member), hoping she would see it, but she said she didn't receive it in the package, but all the other items made it. Even the diagrams are the same! And I loooove how she states that "a true spiritual teacher never charges money for their knowledge", guess I know why they weren't required reading.
