RSE, Raelians, and anti-Catholicism

Unread post by joe sz »

RSE by nature is anti-catholic in a religious sense and by that I mean anti-"universal". RSE is a self-sealing system totally dependent on the disintegrated, radically dual personality of JZ Knight for direction and meaning. There also seems to be an inordinate hatred for the Catholic Church. There are other new movements with these same qualities. Consider the behavior of Raelians since Pope Benedict arrived in Australia recently:

Opinion

Knocking the Pope? You're in a glass house there, Raelians
Jesse Perez

LIVENEWS.com.au

12/07/2008 [aka July 12, 2008]

If there?s one thing you can say for World Youth Day, it?s that the Catholic extravaganza has provided Sydney with a gamut of debating forums.

From the controversial laws put in place to deter protest, to the cost of the event, through to the spiritual benefit the mass communion will provide the city ? it seems everyone has an opinion on Pope-Fest 2008.

The chests of evolved-primate atheists have been beaten and the supporters of the Pontiff have sung their praise in a unified chorus.

As the frequency of the shrieking hits a deafening pitch ? let?s take a look at one group that is approaching the protest of the Pope with the spirit of the xenomorph ? the Raelians.

They say in war you need to rally the support of whomever you find to champion your cause and fight your battles, even if the moulds don't match exactly.

And desperate times lead to desperate measures.

But the question needs to be asked ? exactly what planet did these guys come from?

For those unfamiliar ? the Raelians make up a good chunk of the "NoToPope Coalition" that has formed to belligerently defy the Vatican army, distributing t-shirts with slogans such as "Pope Go Homo" and the bold quasi-Neitzchian proclamation "There is NO God".

Raelians are a curious bunch. To begin with, they believe that all life on Earth was spawned by an alien master race called the Elohim. The cult was founded when a French sports car journalist, Claude Vorillhon, had an alleged encounter with an alien.

According to the Raelians, the Elohim spread prophets such as Jesus, Buddha and Mohammed throughout humanity as guides ? and that at the end of days the final Elohim will return to deliver the ultimate truth of reality.

Until that time, a large part of the Raelians energy and resources is devoted to constructing landing pads so that Elohim space ships can arrive safely and present their final message.

It seems, while the Elohim were advanced masters of biological design, they weren?t able to get it together to sort out their intergalactic aeronautical problems. But hey ? no one?s perfect.

But all that's fine ? I couldn't give a rats arse if you believed that the world was spawned out of a toxic crumb coughed out of a mollusk sitting atop an all-encompassing size-12 bowling ball ? just don't come knocking on my door on Saturday morning distributing pamphlets.

And I have to agree ? the whole Catholic rejection of condoms is a slightly bizarre belief, but then there are a lot of bits in a lot of religions that are bizarre. I?m a Zen student. My teachers hit me with sticks.

But don't go chucking stones if you're in a glass UFO.

First, the Raeliens argue Catholic restrictions on condoms might mean the spread of venereal disease and unwanted pregnancy. But isn?t that the lesson of having a bit of respect for the sanctity of sex?

If you don't want VD or a sprog-rocket ? don't put the train in the tunnel.

If you do, be prepared for the consequence, if it so happens. Not a bad lesson, I think. Not my cup of tea exactly ? but I can understand where they?re coming from.

The Raeliens in the NoToPope Coaltion are up in arms about the spread of VD due to condom restriction. But are happy to support the prospect of human cloning.

That?s right, human cloning. Not just stem cell research ? actual full-blown human clones.

The Raeliens have close ties with Clonaid ? a controversial company that claims to have produced the world?s first human clone, Eve.

For years scientists have researched the disastrous potential effects of cloning, from birth defects to deformities and congenital disease ? but Raelians don?t seem to be concerned with those small problems.

So doesn?t it seem just a little bit hypocritical? And I say this in the spirit of protest.

On one hand, they condemn the Catholic Church for breeding venereal disease by restricting condoms, but on the other, they promote a dangerous science that could have potentially more explosive outcomes.

It just doesn?t make sense.

If you?re going to go and protest ? that?s fine ? we all still have the right to do that, I hope.

But it wouldn?t hurt to take a look around and see how your own army scrubs up under scrutiny.

Glamour lesbians attack Pope and Catholic Church

Daily Telegraph, Australia

By Joe Hildebrand, political reporter

July 09, 2008

A GROUP of glamour lesbians who believe the world was created by an alien civilisation 25,000 years ago have criticised the Catholic Church for being out of touch.

The representatives of the Gay Raelian society yesterday staged a demonstration outside Parliament House to protest the Pope's arrival for World Youth Day next week.

Raelian spokeswoman Eden Bates said it was an insult that the Pope would be welcomed into Australia when "our gorgeous, fantastic spiritual leader Rael wasn't even given the respect of a visa".

"I'm not Catholic, I'm Raelian and I'd like to see police escorts for our beautiful profit when he comes to Australia," she said.

Ms Bates said the Catholic Church was archaic and people needed to come to a better understanding about the world around them.

Asked the difference between the Church and the tenets of Raelianism, she said: "We are an internaitonal, non-profit organisaton that understands that we have been creataed by an advanced civilisation that came to this planet 25,000 years ago and created everything that we are and everything we see around us."

Ms Bates said the Raelians didn't care if a person was gay or straight or bi-sexual or even just a little bit curious.

Her friend Gerry Texeira agreed.

"We believe the time has come for us to understand the truth about our existence," he said.

Rael is a Frenchman and former motor sport journalist and race-car driver whose parents, the Vorilhons, called him Claude.

For a good scholarly look at why the Catholic Church gets bashed so often, read
Philip Jenkins 2003 book "The New Anti-Catholicism: The last acceptable prejudice"

http://home.dejazzd.com/jszimhart/jenki ... licism.htm

Jenkin's book will help you understand where Raelians and RSEians [and perhaps you] are coming from and why.

Joe,

You're correct that RSE is anti-Catholic. However, they are anti-christian, and every other religion, too. Believing they are selectively anti-Catholic is just not true.
I've read a few of the Raelian movement books. They're nuts in my opinion and every bit a destructive extraterrestrial cult. The leader (Rael) encourages women to dedicate their lives to preparing to be Brides to the incoming aliens. It's twisted stuff; talk about a sexist double standard, to say the least.

Ramtha teaches that the Pope is the anti-christ.

The 7th Day Adventists hold the same viewpoint (probably no surprise to you).

Here are two of over 100 sites that are preaching scriptural citations to support their belief that the truth is that the Catholic Church is misleading, and how it discloses the pope as being the anti-christ. You may/may not find them of interest.

watcha---

To prove your point, can you or anyone name specifically [not globally as christian, buddhist, muslim, hindu, etc] what other religion [Mormon, Tibetan Buddhist, Goswami Hindu traditon, Orthodox Jewish, etc] or new religious movement [Mafu, Lazaris, Self-Realization Fellowship, Miracle of Love, etc.] that RSE, JZ or any of RSE reps have targeted vocally besides the Roman Catholic Church? Name specific documents or dates when you heard it and where.

Just curious. I am trying to see how correct Professor Jenkins has been.

I read with interest about the Raelians...but think their is a lot more that could be said about them...I didn't get a very clear picture from either of the articles. I am going to surf for info.
And it's other Christian denominations that appear to me to be the most anti-Catholic...your average Christian Protestant, for instance, and not just rarified sects, but ordinary white bread mainstream Prostestants. And in North America, some Catholic clergy have been ousted from the faith because they excuse the use of birth control by married people, and they believe that women should have a place in the clergy, and they have had the nerve to say so, and also, some hold that in extreme cases of abuse or marital unsuitability, divorce should be acceptable. And while most would not call the Pope the AntiChrist, some feel that he represents an outdated, patriarchal form of Christianity which is out of step with modern times.
But such fairly moderate objections to Catholicism would never get into the papers, lol.

Joe,

I would have to go through my notes to get the specifics you have asked for. I can't promise to do that any certain time, because I may not get to it despite a good intent to.

This is what I CLEARLY recall from various events.

JZR (as Ramtha, for the sake of understanding), has mercilessly bashed many religions. The following come to mind, listed with some examples:

Judaism...supported the sterotype about them caring only about money and that they are the real gray men, but have changed names many times.
Buddhism...Ramtha was going to meet with the Dalai Lama, who wears glasses, a sign of how UNevolved he really is, etc. all put-downs.
Hinduism...They're so clueless that the STILL have a caste system, and wouldn't have welcomed Ramtha had he gone THERE to channel, so he came to the U.S.A. (aren't we lucky)
Catholicism...The pope is the anti-christ, and is in bed with all sorts of bankers/politicians to control the world, and the priesthood is full of gay men, started by Paul, who was gay, etc., etc.
Fundamental Christianity...totally misinterpret the Bible, and theirs is all false doctrine (like the Catholics).
The Moslems...laughing at how they think they'll get their blessings after their dead, which "he" said is false.
The New Age (how's that for ironic???)...The New Agers are a bunch of spineless folks who give their power away to crystals, talismans, psychics, etc., etc., etc.

Basically, over the years, ALL of these religions (at least) have been repeatedly bashed by "Ramtha", and also mocked by JZ from time to time, in audience. There is, I think it's accurate to state, a high level of arrogance amongst students, toward those that are so dull as to be RULED by the false doctrines of organized religions. Yet, what they fail to see, is that THEY are RULED BY JZ KNIGHT AND/OR RAMTHA. S/he controls their lives by defining "reality", and they create THEIR reality within the boundaries of Ramtha's acceptability.

It's just another track on the same record as everybody else, though THEY think they are superior, more evolved, and "special".

Sad, sad, sad.

Yet, remember, Ramtha is the one who has on several occasions, proudly referred to self as "A Dark Lord, indeed."
Need I say more ?

"He" has also said that the Aryan Race IS the superior race. "He" excused Hitler's behavior, because if one could wrap one's wits around "truth", Hitler meant well because he understood that the Aryan Race (bluebloods) were the most evolved and had the best genes.

I was stunned at hearing that. Disgusted. I even remember where I was sitting, I found it SO disturbing. THAT talk wasn't too long before I finally left that hell hole.

Joe -

I'll have to check my notes to find the exact date but in 1998 during some Truth teachings, JZR tore into Sai Baba and publicly humiliated one of the students who personally had encounters with Sai Baba.

JZR was merely following the old tune played by many Theosophists before her. I recall the buzz in CUT in the 1970s "off stage" so to speak was that Hitler was truly one of the "masters" by either went awry or his plan was derailed by "lower forces."
The reason for this is a Theosophy sect Ariosophy:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ariosophy

As for JZR damning of Sai Baba [a charlatan magician with millions of devotees worldwide and who has a long history of sexual inappropriateness with male disciples] she would have to stand in line. Eliz Prophet also condemned him. Theosophists I knew from other groups had mixed reactions about Sai Baba.

I think totalist cult leaders in general feel more important when they attack large or the largest groups.

It is interesting to me at least to compare the foundation myth of Rael with that of JZ-Ramtha. We all know the JZ myth about meeting the 8' big guy with dark eyes in her kitchen in 1977. Claude [Rael] met a small guy from a space ship in 1973:
"The group is headed by Frenchman Claude Vorilhon, a former race-car driver and journalist who renamed himself Rael after supposedly being visited in 1973 by a member of the Elohim. He described his visitor as being about 3-feet tall with long black hair, almond-shaped eyes, olive skin and exuding ?harmony and humor.?

He says he discovered through this meeting that his father was an alien, and claims he was taken in the flying saucer to meet Jesus, Buddha and Joseph Smith, the founder of the Mormons. Rael now describes himself as a prophet and claims that cloning will enable humanity to attain eternal life."
http://www.religionnewsblog.com/11990/r ... nfiltrated

What intrigues me is the ego nature of the development of the myths. Whereas Claude absorbed the christening by Elohim to transform to be Rael the permanent leader, JZ was subsumed by the Ramtha character leaving her rather derelict spiritually from the devotee point of view. Claude has "disappeared" thus the Rael can enjoy his little fiefdom as Laird of the manor. JZ is well JZ. Even Eliz Prophet gave herself extraordinary titles. She was called variously Mother, Guru Ma, Mother of the Universe, Vicar of Christ, etc but never Elizabeth or ECP!

Also, the Rael cult being "horny male" driven [Ramtha is really a girl, believe me] has a prominent sexual theme. Clause teaches that variety in sex partners makes one more intelligent both socially and emotionally. His way of saying it is sex is like soup---why only have one kind all your life! If you read the link above about the young guy who infiltrated the Raelians, you will find this:

After spending time with the Raelians, Hashem claims members are brainwashed and sex is used as coercive tool to gain access to the finances of those in the group.

During their recruitment, Hashem and McGowen said they watched highly sexual shows aimed at convincing prospective members.

?We talked to a lot of homosexuals who said they joined because it?s the only religion not to have condemned them and they feel more comfortable there,? Hashem told the Times.

McGowen admitted having a hard time keeping his wits about him due to the seductive atmosphere.

?You have really attractive women who are out of a lot of men?s league, and they come up to you and touch you,? McGowen said. ?I was seduced by a couple of women and got in pretty deep.?

And while sexual freedom is welcomed, Hashem says activities such as gambling are condemned, though he claims to have followed Rael into a Las Vegas casino and filmed him playing slot machines."

Of course, comparisons between the two groups will break down easily in many details but I think it is interesting that for most female cult leaders to gain power there still has to be a prominent male presence. Blavatsky had 5 "masters" all male. Penny Torres has Mafu; Liz Prophet had at least a dozen males with the 3 dominant being St Germain, Jesus, and El Morya. Many of the female leaders of new religious movements follow male founders: Chidvilasnanda follows Muktananda; the Mother followed Sri Aurobindo; Sri Daya Mata follows Yogananda; many new Zen centers founded by now deceased Asian men are now led by female disciples. In other words, most new cult followers still look to popes or "pappas" instead of mamas for leadership. JZ cannot function without an 8 foot Ramtha as Rael can function without his 3 foot tall alien Elohim.

Joe, you raise an interesting observation. It also brings to mind, the associated past-life name dropping (staking claim to infamous pptte) like Lilly, and Joan of Arc. Among Guru Ma's, Vicar of Christs, martyrd lives of service was Joan of Arc, remember? Well, JZR also was supposed to have been Joan of Arc, and Lilly (Oscar Wilde era in RSE)... Whatever happened to everyone being Cleopatra?

A curious practice of name dropping all the famous people, experiences, when the school is all about moving away from social consciousness, past people, places, things, times and events... even the explanation of why the channel was chosen in this life time, male in a female body. Also was why the big guy didn't appear right in front of us, so that we would worship and follow him. (Similar to how Elizabeth C Prophet always had the Pearls of Wisdom dictated from one of the Ascended Masters of the Great White Brotherhood, but they never actually appeared in Colorado Springs, Malibu, or Livingston, MT... but their 'electronic presence' and violet, purple, pink flame, and scent/essence were there. If all students donned the blinders all these years to get past the dogma of following leaders, priests, ministers, gurus, kings & queens, and all the hype of all channels besides the only one on the planet, why would there be a need to talk about the alleged lifetimes of the past? One possible explanation, is your observation, that you can customize ones spiritual persona to ones needs.

Please turn to your cyber partner and explain why it would even matter to an evolved being beyond time, space, and the ability to manifest anything held in mind into physical reality why you'd go back into timelines of the past, and when everyone else in the audience was told they'd had in the tens of thousands of physical lifetimes, and we'd never know who we were, are only the prophets, annointed messengers, gurus, and leaders the ones who are the only ones on the planet who are in the know about such things...

Joe,

Ramtha's height changes from 7' 4" to 8' depending on the day. Or maybe the amount of wine, LOL.

(humor is a good thing)

Also, with regard to your comment, "Also, the Rael cult being "horny male" driven [Ramtha is really a girl, believe me] has a prominent sexual theme. "

"Ramtha" has not been without his share of sexualized comments towards women. One poster on EMF already said she was in an audience when the guy/gal came in, with a fake phallus attached to "his" belt (gotta use a fake when you don't own a real one), and was making out with a line of women. Then, turned to the audience and said, "If you doubt that I'm a man, just ask these women."

That's just ONE example of others.

Watcha...OOOOOH! say it isn't so! A pretend phallus?????

And, Joe, you may have a point, but if you look at some older religions, there is the cult of the Mother Goddess, and half of the ancient Babylonian, Greek and Roman Gods, and many of the Hindu Godheads, were female...(and in early Judaism, the Shekinah embodies the female aspect of Godhead) people appear to need both, and so, perhaps, JZR and Elizabeth Clare Prophet give a "two for one" sale atmosphere to the deal. Then, there is the Yin and Yang of Daoism, and in modern Wicca the Sun and Moon God/Goddess are revered in about equal measure. Then, there are modern Dianic and Gaiea worshippers, who exclude the male principle entirely...I was asked to join a Dianic group, but I could not see dispensing with men entirely.

And having surfed the Raelians now, they do have a female branch...though, about half of them are sex workers.

I note that the Dianists can't wait for cloning, so they can reproduce without men!

Yep - I was there too - she/he/it/ while "being" Ramtha, wore a belt with a strategically-placed dangling, uh, whatever from the belt. Yet she talked like jzk. When she/he/it first came through the door, women were lined up to kiss "him" and I mean kisses that were not a peck on the cheek but smack with open mouths. Later on was when he/she/it remarked that if anyone didn't believe "it" was a man, just ask "some of these women" whom "he'd" kissed. Not what I expected since I'd only seen the nicey-nice videos of the "big guy" before I went over there.

Wonder if we'll see THAT belt up for auction to "help" CSE!

Is this merely an odd way of of pimping? If so, the male pimp Rael is still dominant.

Overall, sociologists note that the occult/metaphysical types of new cults [eg theosophy, wicca, spiritualism, neo-paganism] tend to have a feminine edge with more women involved and more female leaders.

As for the phallus belt on JZR, I am sure that Lord Shiva was not amused!

Frankly, I don't see why any man in RSE would be amused by JZR's actions, or words, either. "Ramtha" is always boasting about his power and prowess, which is a put down to all the men in the audience. His boasting about how all women love him, and he's the best lover, etc., etc., is not only offensive, but yet again, stroking "his" narcissism and insulting the human males in the audience, or anywhere else for that matter.

I've heard a number of men in the school complaining because they felt that when they were in bed with their wife/partner/girlfriend, that JZR was in the way. Given the nature of the teachings, it's understandable that they would feel that way. It's not the men being victims. It's just the truth of JZR's attempts to demasculinate them.

That (among other things) ought to be a major red flag for the men in RSE. Without digressing, I will refer back to our old Tyger, and say that this is the sort of mentality that he was referring to. Not to be mistaken for me supporting Tyger's overall attitude, either.

I'm strictly going from memory here, but I recall JZR saying that he had never actually "spilled his seed (copulated)," and that the only woman he ever loved is reincarnated now and is an RSE student named "Leyla."

Am I correct about this?

Yes, "he" has told that story. "He" has also said he moved on from that, too. Depends on the audience, what story has been told. It has changed, is what I'm saying.

sort of like when JZ dons the persona of Ramtha after having been on a lengthy vacation with Blue Body, goes to the comrades circle
and invites a few select staff people and comrades to imbibe, then starts degrading James (Blue Body)aBout having the gaul to ask JZ for
a blow job on vacation (now whether he asked HER or she came onto him, we will never really know). To which, James, picks up his goblet of wine, stomps off and mutters, "*&&^^% this!!" and goes back up to the house for the rest of the evening event.

In a way, good for Blue Body not tolerating it and walking away. But, why does he stay ??? Only $$$ ?

I've heard jzR bring up the topic of JZ's sex life with BBody on a number of occasions. Then, when talking about almost anything personal, BBody will walk out. I didn't know it happened in comrade circles, but it did also happen in general audience. Clearly, nobody is spared when she's feeling insecure and/or miffed.
Then, jzR will babble on and on, as Tree said, ABOUT BBody and his failings, faults, and the like, for quite a while. The audience needs to hear that trash, why? The children need to hear it, why?

jzR needs to talk that trash, WHY ?????

I've heard some detailed stories, and witnessed a few things, myself, such that I feel no sorrow for BBody's position. I think he has earned what he gets especially if he stays with her. She had a track record he seemed to ignore. But, that doesn't make it right that jzR will sit there, at any event, using a captive audience to unload her personal venting.

Just one more red flag for people to be aware of.

I honestly don't know how that woman sleeps at night. Yeah...I do. I believe she's a sociopath.

Perhaps BBody is trapped in a "cult (JZK) within a cult (RSE)."

How flattered he must have been in the early phase of his relationship with JZK. Giving up all that he held dear and not looking back. I knew him pre-JZK and I admired him and truly liked him. I also so briefly knew his ex -- a warm and wonderful person.

When he was hand-picked by Ramtha to be the consort of Ramtha's "daughtern," James being human, the offer must have been too tempting to resist. Like selling your soul to the devil.

Now that he is privy to all of the goings on up at the big house, perhaps he is involved too deeply to get out without some kind of huge penalty. He clearly demonstrates his disapproval of JZR each time he leaves her audience when she publicly airs their "sacred" moments. Seems like she has some tremendous sexual hangups in the bedroom arena. She probably gets off on having a captive audience listening to her sexual escapades.

I do believe at this point he is guilty by association, but I'm thinking that BBody probably signed some tremendously binding legal gag order. He might be a victim like all of us were. He might be agonizing over the mess he has gotten himself into.

Back to the Raelians

Unread post by journeythroughramthaland »

I was at an art opening the other night here in LA. There were a few very hot chicks (my sexism showing through). They were very engaging with me and while I was wiping the drool from my mouth, that little voice in side that I was squishing down as hard as I could kept repeating the mantra "this is too good to be true, too good to be true, too good to be true." Then they started telling me about a topless event they were taking part in down in Venice beach.

As I allowed my little voice (sometimes I really wish that little voice would take a vacation) to get a bit louder and as they spoke, I began to recognize that they were moving the conversation to more esoteric topics, before long I was being subtly recruited (can't I believe in aliens for just an evening or so....?) as they were Raelians.

Great PR stratagy!!

Check it out!

but I'm thinking that BBody probably signed some tremendously binding legal gag order.
and you wonder why J. O. does not live in America anymore.

I don't know how Blue Body takes it, unless he continues on with his golfing and poker outings to get out of the house.
not to mention the trips to France, etc
rough life for an ex-surfer.
I used to like his old self as well. Very nice guy back then.

JTR,

ROFL !!!!!!
You're an animal !!!!!

Ohhhh, my goodness. That was too funny.

Tree...good point about J.O. being Out Of Country ! Dunno how he sleeps at night, either.

I can understand how BB couldn't quite resist the bait, and also how he's probably in so deep by now, that even if he did get out, the price to pay (I'm not talking money, either) would be pretty steep. It's sad. Then again, so it wasting the rest of his life there. A Catch-22.

Just wondering if people like Blue Body and Greg would be at some legal risk if they had the courage to come clean.

Not by JZ but by students (events, books, donations) claiming intent to deceive and fraud.

So they would face that as well as having no means to support themselves in the lifestyle to which they'd become accustomed.

Honestly, I think Greg is so far in and still a HUGE believer.
I mean, he writes a book along the same lines and he has a huge fan following.
Blue Body ...well......consdiering he is past the legal point of being considered "married" in the eyes of the state,
I am sure he is bound by some clause and gag.
Maybe he just does the best he can do considering the circumstances.
Just be a guy and go golf and play poker and fish.
He's not in the same playing field as Greg.
Two totally different sheets of music.
Greg doing the "praise be to the Empress"
James just being a guy who got ensnared.Might as well fish and play poker
if that is the web he weaved unknowingly.
