Resumes, Pentagrams, Sea Horses - Life Around The Old Copying Machine
By Kery Murakami
FEDERAL WAY - They were making copies the other day but they wanted more than more of the same.
They were writers, artists and entrepreneurs - the dreamers that coffee shops used to attract but that, in the '90s, are found at copy shops.
Everyone here had an inspiration, an idea that made the machines go "Hmmm."
Guustaaf Damave was copying pentagram after pentagram.
You see, Damave has invented a drawing tool that makes drawing pentagrams easy. He was making fliers to advertise it.
There are lots of people who want to draw pentagrams, Damave said: "There are people who believe that pentagrams have a special power to help you focus your thoughts."
He moved to Yelm recently from the Netherlands to be closer to J.Z. Knight, a channeler said to be in contact with Ramtha, a 35,000-year-old warrior from Atlantis.
"Look at a pentagram for maybe 10 minutes," Damave said, "and see what happens."
He plans to sell his tool for $5.55.
Why that price? Pentagrams have five sides, he said.
