Steve Hassan and Cult info

found a book at the local library - The Protest by Diane kozdrey Bunnell (re a Christian cult) with jacket cover comment from Steve Hassan (who joe sz noted re a magazine article) : "In this new millennium, the issue of mind control looms larger than ever. Yet the public still largely remains in the dark. Mind control can come in many shapes and sizes and be perpetrated by many different individuals. Bunnell's new novel sheds light on the insidiousness of being taught to not listen to your inner voice....." - bold italics mine.
So I did the google thing re Hassan - he has a webpage - http://www.freedomofmind.com --- which I hope the moderators contact him about to have RSE included --- lots of helpful info. Also found a talk online he gave to a group of ex-Mormons. Two significant 'bits' for me -- you're not stupid 'cause you ended up in a cult; and love is the ultimate 'tool' to help someone out of a cult. Other good references and info in the talk - including suggestions re helping someone out of a cult.
