does that RSE take away humor?

Many experiences have happened during these techniques, known as disciplines, at RSE. People have been hurt physically, emotionally, and otherwise. Post your experiences.

does that RSE take away humor?

Unread post by tree »

Another question I have is this- does that place take away humor?
In a word, I would say yes.

Ascension and enlightenment is a very serious matter. And I am TOTALLY serious.

I once, while in the school, had a conversation with a very humorous person by nature.
We were dissecting, as if we were in college course,
how humor actually works in the school
and what types of humor gets rambles' point across?

I will never forget this discussion as many many people in the school did NOT know how to laugh,
or smile or crack a joke because all that was taken away.
The only person around who was allowed to be funny was jz (as ramtha)
because
if he /she was funny,
then we were allowed to laugh. And allowed to laugh at the human condition.
Especially at the condescending tones and instances that Rambles brought up.
At the time, I truly thought Rambles was funnier than Jerry Seinfeld or Conan.
friggin hilarious.
Now......when I look at any videos or you tubes, or whatever,
the audience laughs and I say to myself,
"what was so funny?"

Most people at the school lose their sense of humor. Period.

I have GOT to tell you.
That is one thing that I retained
and still have, thanks be to the strength that is in ME.
So, if you can,
try to see the humor in almost everything.
It is SOOOO worth it.

What disturbs me is the sense I get that happiness isn't enough for many people.
I was given this test recently.

Now mind you,
my answers are indicative of my priorities AFTER leaving a cult.
I am sure they would be similar to a person being a POW
or incarcerated or held hostage.

There were 10 headings.
We were to prioritize those things, in order, which were most important to us.

I will give you the 10 categories. Then I will tell you what I substituted for which
in case you want to take the test for yourself.
Keep in mind, I substituted what I wanted for myself (which I think shows
my growth from having been indoctrinated) because a few categories were irrelevant.

Feel free to post answers .

1) Having a job and money
2) Loving and being love
3) Making my own decisions
4) Self respect
5) Freedom/ no legal problems
6) Good Health
7) Religion/Spirituality
8) Family
9)Close Friends
10)Partying/ Celebrating

now, if you want to make your own category, do so now.
and re-prioritize.

ok.
some natural disaster hits the planet (this is not anyway connected with RSE.  )
scratch off the bottom 3 things.

oh crap.
Another disaster.
scratch off 3 more.
Go.

OMG. the holy mother of all motherloads of the end of times has hit.
scratch 3 more things off that beloved list.
What is the number one priority to you, "as it is seen now" (that was joke, in quotes :D )

Dammit? where is that poll thingy when I need it??!

so....
ask yourself...
after all of those disasters happening,
how did taking away those 3 things ( 3 times) make you feel??
Answer that before you go on.

So,
for me,
here were my substitutions:

Instead of the title Having a job and money
I replaced it with Being Happy

Instead of Religion/Spirituality
I replaced it with sale of my house in the vicinity of the high demand group

instead of partying/celebrating
I replaced it with Excercising

______________________________

and here were my picks
(in order of natural disasters  )

1) Being Happy
2) Making my own decisions
3) Loving and Being Loved
4) Good Health
5) Self respect
6) Freedom (which I lumped into Making my own decisions
because while in the group, these were highly influential)
7) Sale of My house/leaving the area
8) Family
9) Excercizing
10) Having a job and making money

and
How did these disasters make me feel?
for about two seconds, devestated
then......
so so very fortunate.

end of test :-)

you get to learn about your self.
sans the crap load of money
