Birth of a new Sun event at RSE March 22, 2013

Unread post by Ockham »

I heard that RSE is having a $300 event this weekend with a title something like, "Birth of a new Sun," I did an Internet search for that phrase and lo and behold turned up two references that appear to have been recently cooked up within the past two weeks:

http://www.prweb.com/releases/2013/3/prweb10496519.htm
http://usdailyreview.com/birth-of-a-new-sun

How interesting. The timing of the web content seems to have been chosen to make it look fresh and novel to somebody considering taking the RSE course and searching for the phrase. Readers should recognize http://www.prweb.com as a landing pad for some of the other RSE characters with preposterous stories. I also like the graphic on the, "US Daily Review," web site: how is that supposed to be illustrating the Sun spewing out planets? Of course, there isn't much support for Lou Baldin's Sun is a stew pot spewing in the kitchen theory. Ah, some Gnostic information, perhaps? ... and if it is obscure and unpopular, then that must make it the real truth, right? Of course, NASA has nothing to do with Baldin's idea, other than having the misfortune to have its name mentioned in the sophomoric PR piece.

I haven't seen the agenda, but I'd be willing to bet Lou Baldin is the RSE featured speaker. It would be interesting to hear what spin RSE puts on it - the Sun is going to pop out a new planet, so we have head for the Yelm underground shelters in June, perhaps? If you do an Internet search for Lou Baldin, you'll see he hangs out with the usual cadre of UFO aficionados.
