I was wondering where the mythology of the city of Onai came from.
Matthew 1:21 from the complete jewish bible (CJB):
"She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Yeshua, [which means ‘ADONAI saves,’] because he will save his people from their sins.”
ADONAI can be shortened to ONAI. It sounds like a good name for a city, right?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Where did "Onai" come from? Oh, pick me, pick me!
