gambling

Unread post by ex »

if you look at the 'evolved' rse there is a lot about gambling.the henry shugar story got a whole new moral. but students which left school more recently can put a better light on this. but here r my thoughts: so you got your students make money through mlm or all kind of pyramid scams. the successfull ones will come to your audience have a big recruting field and spend theire money there. after a wile it gets very stale . i saw several waves going through yelm. now to the gambling: you get 1000 people working the odds in cassinos there will be some winnings at least more than you would get by yourself. the best: the people risk theire owm money. since this worked for some of them [even the casinos wanna have some winners to get customers back. but remember the house allways wins] they will bring it back to rse to get the ever dangling carrott of enlightement in front of them.they truly believe they got it and can make so much they want. they even have a story to putt them on stage as enlightend winners. do all the 'loosers' complain? of course not because that would show that they r not truly on the way to enlightement and diddent get it yet. is it much different than running the scams? whats the teaching here? winner=enlightend? looser=deserve it,unenlightend. whats with creating winn winn situations? is this the buisness of the villigers?

Hi ex,

Just an intersting side note on gambling.

I have been running an experiment the last few years. Whenever someone tells me they are going to Vegas, I tell them to play #27 on the roulette the first bet and if it doesn't come in to then play it again and all the corner #'s. Last week I had somebody hit the # ( I had had a couple before). They came back amazed! They asked me how I knew that and I gave them my standard response which is " When you told me you were going I saw you winning on that #" Now they are all amazed, they are telling everyone they know I had this foresight (NOT), Out of the people I have given the same instructions to about 1 out of 6 comes back with a winning tale (Most of the time when they play the number and the surrounding numbers via the cornerson the table, that would be about the expected result).

So I have a small group of people that are assured I have some sort of power. Of course the ones who don't hit the number never ask what I did to be wrong. when they tell me they didn't hit I simply shrug my shoulders.

It is amazing how easy it is to do. I always use the same # for everyone. Someone has to get it eventually.
