Bleep, the Movie

Unread post by pookie4u »

When I saw this movie I had to see who the woman was with the fake accent was, Ramtha. I am sorry I had to see something like that on my TV, as everything has to be fake about her. Do not believe anything she tells you!

Here's a Quantum Physics expert who is in the What the Bleep movie who has expressed his disgust with how his words were manipulated to make him sound supportive of the kooky theories of the guru from Yelm. Here's an interview where he dispels the idea of "creating ones own reality." To him, it is unreasonable and doesn't work with quantum mechanics or quantum physics in any fashion whatsoever.

Hi Jeff,

Great interview, thanks! When I had first seen WTB and saw David Alpert, I contacted him because i had read some of his works and in no way did it ever seem to gel with the WTB ideology. He was one unhappy camper at how they spliced his remarks together to make it appear that he supported their premise, when in fact he told me he spent hours explaining to them why their premise was NOT supported by Quantum Mechanics.
I met with him personally one time in LA and he gave me quite the education in how JZ/R was not spewing antiquated wisdom, but stuff that had been put to bed by the majority of the scientific community decades before he/she/it regurgitated it again.

I have wondered if Judy Knight ever attended a Werner Erhard EST seminar. EST was quite popular in the 1970s, and it is the grand daddy of much of the New Age gobbledygook that tries to tie physics to philosophy. I can picture Knight attending an EST seminar back in the days when when was selling cable TV contracts. The geography, the notion of selling coursework, ties to Theosophy and timing all suggest to me that may be where Judy Knight purloined her ideas for setting up the Ramtha franchise.
