FBI's Project Megiddo

Unread post by Caterpillar »

Quote from David: One explanation I was told was....that soon after the Texas Waco tragedy, the Federal government put out a notice to State governments and police officials to tread softly softly when dealing with religious Cults and its members,
The Government were very worried another Waco incident could be sparked.... RSE Yelm was on that list.

David, is that Project Megiddo? "Ramtha" did warn that we were being monitored by the Govt due to our involvement with RSE. JZ's paranoia or perhaps it was to do with this project?

Project Megiddo was a report researched and written by the United States' Federal Bureau of Investigation under Director Louis Freeh. Released on October 20, 1999, the report named followers of white supremacy, Christian Identity, the militia movement, Black Hebrew Israelites, and apocalyptic cults as potential terrorists who might become violent in reaction to the new millennium.

The report's purpose was to warn other domestic law enforcement agencies to "the potential for extremist criminal activity in the United States by individuals or domestic groups who attach special significance to the year 2000." The report also stated: "The threat posed by extremists as a result of perceived events associated with the Year 2000 is very real. The volatile mix of apocalyptic religious and (New World Order) conspiracy theories may produce violent acts aimed a precipitating the end of the world as prophesied in the Bible.

I wonder if there is a new report for 2012.

Perhaps this subjects is better served under its own thread...

Perhaps it is called Megiiddo now, and perhaps it comes under the jurisdiction of the US Homeland Security Department.
Something to think about...
The 9-11 attacks were carried out by religious extremists..."Islamic jihadists", their cult leader is Osama Bin Laden.
Behind all its New Age fluff... RSE is also a religious extremist organization...!
Its understandable the US government would be keeping a quiet eye on Judith and her organization.

While attending RSE....
I use to think "and we were told" that the US Government had betrayed us all and was spying on RSE,
Why?...
because we were all so powerful and special..

Yikes....

EyesWideOpen posted....
I recently read this book and was shocked to read about JZ in a book which features Jim Jones, David Koresh, Charlie Manson, Shoko Asahara, Marshall Applewhite, Luc Jouet and Joe DiMambro, Osama bin Laden. Scary, really.

The Cult of Osama:
Psychoanalyzing Bin Laden and His Magnetism for Muslim Youths

Review by By Robert E. White
In Peter Olsson's first book Malignant Pied Pipers of Our Time: A Psychological Study of Destructive Cult Leaders from Rev. Jim Jones to Osama bin Laden, he takes the reader into the minds of cult leaders and skillfully points out the dynamic connection between the leader and his vulnerable followers while offering helpful advice to families who face the dilemma of extricating their loved ones from the cult.

In the Cult of Osama, Dr. Olsson draws on his psychoanalytic training, his 25 or so years of theorizing on the dynamics of charismatic leaders, and applied psychoanalytic methods to develop a feasible understanding of a man who, arguably, is the greatest cult leader of our time. Poetry by bin Laden, an interview of bin Laden by Peter Berger, and interviews of violent fundamentalists by Jessica Stern contribute to Olsson's understanding of a man who will, in all probably, never submit to a formal psychoanalysis. Consistent with his first book, Dr. Olsson offers practical advice into thoughts and actions that might address the threat of religious and political extremism. Partricularly poignant are the e-mail exchanges he has with his psychiatrist pen pal in Baghdad. This book is a worthy addition to one's library on Islam, middle eastern politics and radical fundamentalism.
