RSE marketing holds to a "win win" solution. I believe that Dr. Greg uses this phrasology in his diatribe, however, ask yourself, what has been the "real" as in absolute gain for me (i.e. students).
In general a transaction only makes sense if there is a positive sum outcome. ie. the marginal utility of my purchase is equal to,at minimum,or greater than the marginal cost of producing the output I consume. In other words I feel better for buying it.
Does anyone really (ie. in "real terms") feel better for buying into RSE. Longterm.

Well George...that is certainly a fair question, but the question is placed in the wrong forum...people who feel they have GAINED from their time at RSE, would be unlikely to visit this forum, or, should they happen to visit this forum, would be unlikely to consider it sensible or appropriate to go on and on about the wonderful benefits they had received.
I am opening a book I inherited from Dad - "The Lie of Statistics" - (Dad taught Calculus, Logic and Statistics)...and also, referring to my Rudiments of Psychology book. In referring to manipulation and advertising, and about how the use of statistics to back puffery and exagerated claims by advertisers should be subject to questioning..."Four out of five dentists surveyed...". -Were these dentists paid? Were these dentists veterinary or zoological dentists? Was the product found to halt tooth decay in chimps, rats, walruses? As compared to what control group? People who due to malnutrition, had 'doomed teeth', that no amount of brushing would save? "Another leading brand". Another leading brand of what, exactly? Shoe polish? Watch batteries?

Leemar;
I do and I don't....and I'll explain. I never paid a single dime to JZ, RSE, or bought any of the Omega, blue algae, water-this-twinkie-that scams that Ramtha promotes on a monthly basis. So I feel damn blessed that I was as close to the school as I got and avoided any financial loss or costs.
On the other hand, the time spent learning what RSE had to offer what the most absurd waste of time I've ever done in my entire life. Truthfully. Getting addicted to Warcraft and going on a 3-month binge of playing was more productive. LOL!!!!
However; if my affiliation with and exposure to the lies that Scamtha, RSE students and staff pump out and call a "teaching" ends up resulting in the demise of that lunatic asylum, ....then my time wasn't wasted at all.
That's how I view it. :)

Well, then the sum would be statistically significantly less than zero!
Reminds me, if you will pardon the expression, of War. Casualties of war are measured as a single loss...but each life touches so many others, that really, the tally for any campaign or exercise of that nature is much much higher.
