ANNOUNCEMENT FROM JACKIE JO REID

Hi, Everyone!

After great consideration, I have officially filed my intent with the
Office of Elections and am pleased to announce my candidacy in this
year's race as a Thurston County Commissioner.

As an Independent, I will have no political machine or party behind me.
In order for me to participate in the election process, certain protocols
need to occur. One of them requires me to hold a convention to obtain
the signatures of supporters and other necessary procedures as required
for fulfilling lawful election processes.

Toward that end, there will be a gathering of like minds at the Blue
Bottle on Saturday, March 1st, 2008 at 11 a.m. The purpose of this
meeting is to introduce myself, share where I stand on the issues, and to
gather as many of you who would like to participate in this adventure
with me.

My Campaign Manager, Rahdin, and Treasurer, Connie Smith, are already
onboard. Since any campaign is only as good as the people behind it,
here are some of the ways you can help:

We will be looking for someone to organize and manage all the volunteers,
as well as a Fundraising Manager and Advertising Manager. We'll also
need people who are willing to talk to their neighbors to find out what
people expect from their County Commissioner, and to obtain feedback,
people to do research on various projects: land use, climate change,
preservation of the environment and natural resources, water rights,
social issues, and, when the time comes, people to put up signs.

It is my goal this weekend to share my plan and enthusiasm with you and
to elicit your most helpful participation and support. My newly created
website is nearing completion and then, watch us run!

I'm going to call you later today and see if this is something I'm interested in.

And I'll most likely be at the Blue Bottle meeting....I need to meet some of these nuts in person.

On the other hand, I'm severely disappointed in EMF and what is does NOT offer these poor idiots that are still being brainwashed on a daily basis at RSE.

EMF's utter failure to seriously address JZ's political adventures has resulted in my consideration of other more "effective" techniques to expose what is really going on at RSE and her agenda for the rest of us who live in Yelm and fairly resent her elitism and self-serving agenda and behavior, not to mention her endeavors to shove it down the public's throat here in Yelm. More than a few of us have had enough....and I can assure you that the local police department here have had enough of RSE as well. You may want to consider soliciting their support....if your agenda matches theirs that is.
